Life after the pill….

Hello, I’ve been off the pill for a week now and am just ending what I believe to be my withdrawal bleed after 5 days. For back ground I’ve been on the pill (rigevidon) for the past year. I’m 27 and I have a 10 year old daughter already. I am trying to get pregnant and just wondered if anyone had any experience of getting pregnant after the pill and how soon? Im using an ovulation tracker but I know it won’t be accurate until I get a ‘true period’. Am I getting my hopes up thinking it may happen very soon? Thank you for reading.

Probably not what you want to hear but after I came off the pill my cycle took nearly a year to get back to normal. But thankfully was able to conceive first go using ovulation tests. So Would have conceived just over a year after I stopped the pill.

Although I was on it for years with no breaks so that might have had an affect on how long it took my body to get back to normal.

Thank you, I didn’t have breaks either so was worried this may have had an effect. I know everyone is different and I suppose I got my hopes up that I had the breakthrough bleed super early but telling myself to be realistic and that these things take time

Yeah I didn't have breaks either and came off I believe around the 30th May, had a breakthrough bleed and am yet to have a period! (Haven't took any recent pregnancy test in the past few weeks so is a possibility)
