Leaking fluid/milk from nipple 9dpo

Hello everyone. I'm TTC baby number 2 and I'm 9DPO. I tested early (silly me) and got a negative this morning. However this evening my boobs felt really full, just like when I was breastfeeding my first baby, and when I touched my nipple, fluid/milk came leaking out. If I squeeze it softly, it is like a runny colostrum that is seeping out from my right boob only.

Has anyone else had this before a positive test?

Thanks so much

Hey! I've had similar to this but both breasts. I got excited thinking it was a sign but unfortunately for me it was the complete opposite. It is actually my pituatry gland over producing prolactin which in turn, prevents you from falling pregnant. It was really hard and took months for me to work this out but eventually found a doctor that listened to my concerns!

I don't mean to scare or dishearten you but I wish someone had told me to get my prolactin checked sooner!!

I hope you do get your bfp! But if you don't and these symptoms continue (mine seems to be certain times of the cycle) then please request bloods checking your prolactin levels xx

Thanks so much for your response. Much appreciated. I actually got a positive yesterday. But I really appreciate you giving me the advice x

Yay congrats!! Is your first born young? Maybe it's different if you've breast fed fairly recently. My first born is 5 already so my boobs were definitely dried out before starting to leak again!

Hope it's a healthy, smooth pregnancy for you 😊 x
