Help - Positive OPK & spotting

Hi there

i am a bit confused about what’s going on and wonder if anyone has ever had similar.

my clear blue OPK showed up peak fertility on 7th July (put this in my app and it said 8th July therefore most likely ovulation day). DTD 7th and 8th. About 5-6 days later I got mucusy brown discharge, just a bit when I wiped/ tiny bit in pants. This lasted for about 1.5-2 days. So I thought okay, sounds really like implantation bleeding? Had lots of “pregnancy” symptoms (or maybe PMS symptoms as turns out!) like bigger boobs, sore boobs, UTI pinched feeling, headaches, skin breakout (not like me) etc. but most of all nausea, usually when my stomach is empty although occasionally while eating.

tested yesterday at 13-14dpo and BFN. I feel like AF is coming, cranky/backache/grumpy/headaches. So now I’m wondering what this means? Was the clearblue wrong and the brown discharge was ovulation with bleeding? And the nausea… does it mean something is out of whack with my hormones? For context I’m TTC #2 (pregnant first time with DD) and had Mirena coil removed end of May.

so AF came 3/4 days ago. About 4 days late. I have a theory that maybe when you’re TTC #2 your body remembers what it was like to be pregnant and all the symptoms come back even though you’re not. Just a theory though not sure if it’s true.

anyway this month I’m not going to bother with ovulation tests. I wonder if I get multiple LH surges. I’m going to do CM and cervix position instead.
