First FET tomorrow

Hi all, just looking for a handhold and some positive vibes really for my first FET tomorrow.

Am 33 with pcos. Had a freeze all round of ICSI in April which resulted in 27 mature eggs (on low stims 🙃high risk for OHSS). We suspect MF issues as DH had issues with morphology and motility, although all marginally improved with supplements. Think 19 fertilised and ended up with 6 day five frosties, which I was over the moon about. This is our first transfer, natural cycle with an ovitrelle trigger as I have migraine so can't do the meds for controlled.

Have been ttc for 3.5 years with one chemical and one pregnancy loss at six weeks in that time. Just can't imagine being pregnant and really trying to stay positive. Any lovely stories or good vibes would be a big help 🩷

Not quite the same situation but this time 5 years ago I was counting down the days to my viability scan after getting my BFP following our first round of IVF. We'd been TTC for 5 years and it was unexplained infertility, having never had a BFP I could barely believe we'd been successful first time but DD starts school in September. I then spontaneously conceived DS when she was 18 months old.
Good luck with you FET 🤞

Thank you so much @TheArtfulScreamer1 and good luck with DD starting school!

Sending lots of positive vibes! Our experiences sound somewhat similar, male factor infertility but enough for ICSI to have been successful. Mild OHSS after collection of 24 eggs with eight embryos frozen. First transfer Wednesday! Also natural cycle with an ovitrelle trigger.

Do you think you’ll be tempted to test early? I’m not a very patient person but may try to wait it out 😂 wishing you lots of baby dust! ✨

So similar @Labradoodlepup ! 8 frozen is amazing, congrats. I hear ya - there is absolutely no way I will be able to wait for a blood test - patience is absolutely not my speciality 😂. I'd also kind of rather find out in private than in a phone call I think? Obviously the trigger shot is hcg so I'm planning to do a 'base line' test tomorrow morning before the FET, then another one next Monday maybe? Sending you lots of positive wishes for yours on Wednesday ✨ I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow!

@localbunny hope it all goes fantastic for you tomorrow! 🎉Agreed I think I’m going to test the trigger day of transfer as well. It’s going to be a long two weeks!!

Transfer yesterday went smoothly! Defrosted happily and is now in situ and hopefully getting comfy. Wasn't too bad at all, worst thing was the full bladder.

@localbunny good to hear and same, transfer all good on Wednesday and now just the wait! I’m utterly exhausted today, thinking it’s probably from the progesterone suppositories. I’m definitely very aware of any twinges even though it’s so early 🤦‍♀️

@localbunny I had my first FET last wednesday, also natural cycle with ovitrelle trigger.

I ended up testing out the trigger on 2dpt and it was clear then (and I knew it would be too early for an actual positive), so for me, it cleared within 10 days!

I then started getting positive lines in the evening of 4dpt, and theyve gotten stronger during the week.

Did you end up testing yours?
