Soo long story short me and my partner are currently trying for our first! I haven't had a period since 17 years old ( currently 25 ) due to having to be on certain contraception methods because of migraines, my last depo shot that I've been on since 18 years old was December last year and was due again in march that I cancelled.

How long did it take for you to get your period and/to conceive? Also what signs to look out for to know you're due on after not having anything for years?

I was on sayana press and had my last in July 2021, I had regular cycles for 8 months then very irregular again. This last cycle was of a normal length and I’ve actually had ovulation bleeding with some cramping.
really hoping this could be our cycle, currently 5DPO so just waiting out until at least 10 days before I test.
ive also started taking myoinsitol for my PCOS.

good luck

@jods19 I was on Depo for almost 12 years. I got last shot in Dec 2021 and my period came back at the start of July 2022. I'm not gonna lie it was horrendous as I hadn't had it in so long🥴, I forgot how bad the cramps were and was actually diagnosed with endometriosis (the pill and depo had masked it for years) I started using Premom easy@home ovulation strips and their app to track everything but it was really irregular for about 6 months. (Ranged from 18 day cycles to 30) I got pregnant in Jan of this year but unfortunately had a MMC at 8 weeks at the start of March. My period came back to normal again in May and since then my cycles have been 26 days and everything seems good. Unfortunately I had a chemical pregnancy this cycle but I'm feeling very positive that it will happen again soon... in a nut shell I'd definitely advise tracking everything with strips/app jist to give you an idea of what's going on. Good luck 🤞
