Ovulation Test Help!

Hi MN,

I am currently TTC 2nd baby and using the clearblue digital ovulation test.

I didn't use it last time with my first as just used an app which was very accurate! However I thought I'd use the tests this time, to check things are all back to normal!

I have been testing since last week and now had 7 days in a row of high fertility (flashing smiley face). I'm worried as online it says we should have 5 days high fertility and then our peak day (ovulation).

Anyone else had experience of this? Worried if it's normal to have so many high fertility days and still no peak?

I had between 2-7 flashing smilies over 6 cycles last time I got pregnant. The peak/static is the one you want to look out for as that's the indicator that ovulation will happen in 12-36hrs.

I have seen several people on here say they use cheapies until they start to go darkish then move to using Clearblue to get their peak to save money.

That's a very good idea!!! If you don't mind me asking, did you have sex every day on it flashing or wait until the ovulation smiley? We have so far done 2 days on and 1 day off!

Sorry if that's tmi 😂 but wondering if we are doing it enough!

@karrliz every other day, then on the day of the static smilie and the day after. Although last time I got pregnant we only did it once, the day after the static smilie!
