Ttc no5 buddies

Hi, I'm ttc no5 and looking for any buddies. I don't know if this is silly or not but I feel guilty when on ttc boards because I have 4 children and so many are struggling to conceive their first or second.

We've been ttc for 2 months and we have 4 girls aged 11, 8, 5 and 2

I’m ttc #7 , I have some big age gaps due to fertility issues so although I have a big family it’s been very difficult - if I didn’t I’d have been like sue radford I think !!!

All singletons ! The biggest age gap I have is between 4 and 5 (6 years!) . Also had a 5 year gap between 1 and 2. I have endometriosis, adenomyosis and PCOS . Been ttc #7 for nearly 2 years now which is a long time but I know I’ve waited longer in the past so trying to be patient (or maybe I’m too old now 😂)

Hey, I’m ttc no 5 as well. This is our first month of trying, but I’m 5 years older than last time so a bit nervous. I have a 17, 15, 14 and 5 year old. We did get pregnant 2 years ago but it was ectopic
and then got pregnant straight after but had to have a tfmr which was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do so thought we wouldn’t have any more as couldn’t go through it again, but time is a great healer and we feel ready to try again. So hopefully we haven’t left it too late and can have another. Lovely to meet some other people with bigger families 😊

It's been 5.5 years since I had a baby and I'm mildly worried it's all changed.

So was it hard going from 3 to 4? I kinda feel like not much will change, we already have a 7 seater car, already have piles of washing and never ending snack requests etc.

Oh my gosh I'm so happy to meet you all!!!!
We are having a hard time conceiving no5 but I feel so awful posting on normal ttc boards when so many are struggling to conceive no1 or 2.

My girls are almost exactly 3 years apart each time but we didn't plan it like that, it just happened. Now theres a running joke in both sides of the family about when to expect no 5 but it's not happening!!! I was 23 when we had our first and I'm now 35 and its definitely very different.

@HopefullMumto4 I said 4 would be my last but she was born during lockdown, via emergency c section, whilst I had a toddler and was home schooling 2 older children and my husband was still able to work, so I figured if I can do that, I can do no 5!!!!

@MrsO5Jan I am so so sorry for your losses. My sister has 4 children but had 8 losses during those years and it was incredibly difficult for her, thinking you hugs and everything's crossed for a healthy baby

My first three were 20 months apart and there were definitely a lot of jokes about the 4th being due any time now the first few years of her life.

How long have you been trying? Don't feel bad at all posting about struggles. Trying for a baby is stressful no matter the number

@HopefullMumto4 thank you ❤ we've been actively ttc for a few months, but for the year prior to that, we didn't use any contraception and tbh just presumed it would happen. When it didn't we started using opks, bbt, etc.
Since my c section 2 years ago, my periods have been irregular and heavy and my gp diagnosed me with a hormone imbalance. We decided to try diet changes and supplements first and it's been working really well, but between that and being 35, I'm worried this might be a long wait.

What supplements is everyone taking?

Ah no, hopefully not! There's still time 🤞🤞

I'm only taking a generic multi vitamin at the moment but in previous preparations I've taken b12 and evening primrose oil

Hey @Maybebaby12345 I’m contemplating going for number 5 as well, I said number 4 was absolutely my last one and I have 4 very healthy and happy children so don’t know if it’s silly, eldest is 8, youngest is 14 months so thinking maybe starting TTC in next few months 🤔🤔
