Testing at 8DPO?

This is too early isn't it? What was your symptoms at 8DPO that turned into a BFP? When did you get your BFP? AF due in 6 days...

With first I got BFP two days after missed AF. And it was suuuuuper faint.

I just took a test 8dpo this cycle, it was bfn. And there’s a long time to wait til AF. So, I think it’s best to hold on if you possible can. Easier said than done, I’m 12dpo tomorrow and I desperately want to test 😆🤞🏻

@FoodFann the wait is horrible isn't it!! I feel like I'm having so many symptoms but I don't know if it's in my mind or just early symptoms of AF!! Have you had any symptoms? My most prominent symptom has been dull cramping in my lower abdomen and back. I'm also having an achy pain in my down below area earlier on I also had a stitch like pain in my left side.... again I don't know if this is in my head as I'm over thinking everything hahaha!

8dpo is on the early side but definitely not impossible. I got my bfp at 8dpo this cycle and had the same thought every norther cycle off ttc that it is to early.

I had an ectopic pregnancy back in February and had to wait 3 months before ttc again. I got my bfp at 10dpo that cycle.

Last month was our first month being able to ttc again after the ectopic and I caught pregnant that cycle but unfortunately started to bleed on the day af was due and all preg tests went back to negative so it was a chemical pregnancy for us. Got my bfp on 10dpo that cycle to.

Pregnant again this cycle and to my amazement bfp but faint at 8dpo so definitely can happen.
Still very early but tests are getting stronger so 🤞 also I didn't really have any symptoms other than sore boobs. Getting a few sharp twinges in them now but it's early so you may not even notice any.
Like I've said though I've also had bfps later sonplease do not lose hope!

Morning, jumping on this post to share a possible half faint line this morning 8dpo.
AF due on weds.
i know it’s early days but possible??
boobs feel bigger, I’ve struggled with a bad back the last 2 days but that could be from carrying 2year old.

I've had positives at 9dpo before but not 8dpo! Doesn't stop me from testing at 6dpo though 😂🤭

I had a positive at 8dpo! Very faint on a frer but a definite pink line and I now have a 4 month old baby, so it’s definitely possible. Best of luck!x

Tested today at 9DPO and it was a BFN, still having the same ongoing symptoms.. felt a little nauseous today too

Todays... I don't know if I can see a hint of something or if my eyes are paying tricks on me... probably my eyes! 10DPO I believe, 4 days until AF. Can you still be showing negative at 10DPO or am I out?

Can anyone give any advice?

Hi @TTCbaby2x i got a BFN at 11dpo and got a BFP at 12dpo.
It was like one day nothing then the next there was a line. Try testing in a couple of days hun. If you can't wait which is totally me, test first thing tomorrow morning xx

10dpo is the same as 5dp 5dt (IVF). I started having very faint positive tests by this stage however, IVF gives you an exact timescale to base the test results on. When temping, tracking CM or any other ovulation method, you can't be absolutely certain when you ovulated. You may be 11dpo, 10dpo or 9dpo so you really can't count yourself in or out at all at the moment. Stay strong and test again in 2 days.

hi girls, after my strange half positive test, I have had one further neg. but two days spotting- dark stringy on wiping. AF due tomorrow. All a bit confused.

didn’t have implantation with my son if that could be what is it?

@Elg90 it could potentially be implantation! I never experienced that either with my son but I know quite a few people do get this... if it was beginning of AF I'd assume it would be red/pink not brown. Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you!!

I'm on 12DPO still testing negative, think period pains have started, AF due in 2 days so think I'm out this month unfortunately

Fingers crossed for us. It’s been a hard & long 5 months since my miscarriage and my due date would have be in a few weeks so could do with some positive news ❤️

13DPO, thought I saw a hint of something but again just think it's my imagination.. no cramps today just a stitch like pain every now and then... AF due tomorrow

@TTCbaby2x I'm 9dpo and caved this pm! I think I can always see where the dye is laid in my test even within the time frame. Pic includes the LH test I took too, obviously. I was just googling HCG levels by dpo, and found a few charts. My cheapies don't pick up less than 25mIU/ml which would be the average on about day 12, with a fair range either way. So it could just be too early.

@CycleGirl20 I'm currently using the one step tests which are apparently 10ml but I've read some bad reviews on them saying they take a lot more HCG to pick anything up so don't know if I should switch tests for future

@TTCbaby2x are they the easy@home one steps or the brand OneStep? I got a run of false positives with the later. I think they can be a bit iffy

@TTCbaby2x any luck? I think I have an evap line today @ 10dpo. You can see it on the top one (bottom dried one to compare). It's not got any colour. I think I'm really good at seeing evaps!

My cycles are irregular because of breastfeeding still and I had similar 2 weeks ago, then it turned out I hadn't even ovulated 🙈. So I'm on back to back TWWs!

AF due today but already been spotting (dark brown) since Monday but had nausea and metal mouth. So confused!
Will test tomorrow @ 14dpo.

@TTCbaby2x well done for holding out. I made it to 9dpo pm this time and caved 😅. I thought I wanted to know either way, obviously forgetting that I probably wouldn't get anything sensible until later 🙈

I'm just sick of seeing BFN and being so disappointed so I think it's best for me to just wait until I'm actually late hahah, yesterday I had some brown stringy discharge but that has disappeared today. No sign of AF up to now, no cramping either just some mild back ache. I'd expect AF to arrive within the next 3 days as my cycles are usually between 33-36 days. If I go based on a 36 day cycle I'm not late until Monday, oh the wait!!
