Hi. I’m new to this strips I used to Clearblue OPK but it’s getting to expensive after long time TTC
i started using them on day 4 just not to miss my surge but they getting lighter? Normally I ovulate day 12 based in my Clearblue OPK. Also Clearblue OPK after peak you have around 24/36 hours before ovulation. Is it same with LH strips?

its normal for the LH to be light/low and to fluctuate until your peak. when the T line becomes dark, you'll get an LH surge (your peak). the app will tell you your peak. you will then ovulate 24-36 hours from them. when i used the strip, my peak varied from 1.5 to 2.1 but some people can have lower peaks (less than 1). you should start to see the increase around CD10-12 then. you may want to test twice a day (or more) closer to the time you ovulate. i tend to keep testing a few days after my peak just to make sure it goes back down. i hope that helps! good luck :)

Keep testing OP. LH can fluctuate before you get your peak

LH does not have a progression; your lines will not get gradually darker as you approach ovulation. LH will naturally fluctuate and then there will be a sudden, unmistakeble spike for 24-48 hours and your lines will be very clear before it returns to normal fluctuation.

Keep using them; through using them, I realised that I have a normal cycle length but my ovulation is much later than average. I would have struggled to concieve had i gone by the usual "day 14" rule.
