Need Advice on Potential Paternity

I'm currently pregnant and in a bit of a dilemma about who the father of my child may be.
My cycles re usually 31-33 days long and are regular for the most part. My last period was Dec 30-Jan 3. I did the deed with my ex on Jan 9 & 10. (He was my ex at the time too) and then with another guy I was dating on Jan 15. I didn't use protection as I have pcos and had been with my previous ex for 6 years with 0 scares. My Flo app shows my fertile window as Jan 16/17 but I heard they aren't that accurate. Very stressed about this as I don't want to have a baby with my ex but I don't know if it may be his.

I've already taken a non-invasive paternity test I'm just waiting on the results. Any advice would be welcome

Too close together to tell. With a 31 day cycle, you'd expect ovulation around day 17 (16th Jan). However, sperm can live for at least 5 days, meaning sperm from 11th Jan. People can and do ovulate early and late. If you ovulated late, likely to be second guy, if very early more likely to be ex. If on time could really be either.

You've done the right thing having the test and I hope you get the result you want x

Too close to call that one tbh... Was it the same ex you were with for 6 years and didn't conceive with? I'm inclined to say the last guy... The app is usually spot on for me and many others I speak to.

My cycle is around 31 days and I usually ovulate on around CD20/21 it's really hard to judge which it could be if you haven't tracked with opks in the past to get a rough idea of normal O day. I hope you don't have to wait long for the results and they are what you want 🤞🏼

I’d be inclined to say the last guy, if you were having regular unprotected sex for 6 years with the first guy and never conceived before.
But it’s too close to tell really. you can ovulate early or late, unless you were monitoring ovulation you wouldn’t know.

fwiw obviously PCOS doesn’t mean you’re infertile, or immune to stds, so you should get checked if you can, if you’ve not already

hope you get the results you want on the test

Hello, OP. How far into pregnancy were you when you did the paternity test? I’m in same situation.

I took the test at 27 weeks but was told at the testing center that I could take it at 15 weeks. Online says 9 though so if you're around then you might be good. Your blood will need to have enough fetal DNA in it though for the test to be conclusive

May I ask what company you used for the prenatal test and were the results accurate?
