8dpo and feeling PMS cramps 😓😩

Tell me your vitex success stories! Also, should it be taken on certain days of the cycle?

I personally found vitex very unhelpful. Few months into and my periods became extremely irregular.
I do have pcos but had never had irregular periods before messing with vitex .
I think the vitex messed with my hormones and I struggled for years to get them back regular

I found it helpful in helping me to ovulate earlier in the cycle and lessening pms. However it did mess up the length of my cycles,making them irregular. It also caused me a lot of bloating and water retention,with slight weight gain. I am currently weaning myself off it.

Ya going grand. Down to half a dose every 2nd day. Bloating, water retention and weight gain left pretty much straight away and ovulation still on track. Hope it works out for you. Good luck. How much you taking? I took 800mg. Very high dose. Could be the problem.

@pmd88 good to hear it’s working out for you. I’ve decided not to take them. My periods have already gone awry, so I took a FSH test which came back worryingly positive (it’s the hormone is associated with menopause). So, off to the dr for me!
