The math ain't mathing? Help!

So I got a static smiley 6/7 days ago. Before that it was completely blank and so were my cheapies. So obviously not confirmed by temping but supposedly ov 6/7 days ago. Im now spotting brown?? It doesn't make sense because it's so early for my period but if im spotting that means af is coming and I've ovulated at some point to have a period but when ?? Cos it's so early!!
