High cervix

Have looked through Google for hrs and come up with no answers. My last cycle I monitored the positions of my cervix. By 6dpo it was low down, still soft, honestly thought well that's this month out as they normally say it stays high if pregnant.. then noticed a little bit of brown discharge on 11dpo and thought I'd check, and it's soooo high up, barely reachable.

Hasn't moved then on 15 dpo (day before expected AF..I started spotting for 2 days nothing on pad just wiping and a few drips in the loo.
Do.a pregnancy test and it's negative. So thought ahh well looks like I'm defo out this time. When those 2 days are up.. I check my cervix and its still high up and hasn't budged. What the heck is going on? 😳 now cycle day 4 technically and still high
Thought it's sposed to.be down during af??
Anyone else had this? So confused. Xx

@MammyFoost Hello! I have a naturally high cervix - I had the copper coil put in a few years ago and when they put it in the Doctor told me I have a high cervix and researching online shows the little swimmers have more work to do to reach it.

I purchased a conception cup this cycle which apparently increased the chance by 48% and currently on 10 DPO so going to do a test later this week. It holds the sperm in and cause they have no other way to swim they apparently swim up to the cervix.

Ooo I have never heard of these cups before. Wow isn't it cool what they can do for fertility these days.
My cervix isn't always high, I have times in my cycle where my cervix drops super low so was confused as to why it didn't drop this time..it stayed high the entire 2day
period and stayed up there for ovulation. still high now.Who knows what's going on with this months hide an seek game lol. 🤷‍♀️

Mines done the same thing it soft closed and high took a pregnancy test but negative don't think there's enough hcg to detect pregnancy yet but took ovulation tests and tjete all positive so am confused am due on tomorrow but I had pregnancy symptoms needing toilet and stuff more frequently
