Best cheapo HCG tests?

What are the best cheap pregnancy tests?
(I’m talking about the ones you take when you know it’s too early but need to scratch the itch 😂)

Ive got the early@home from Amazon 😊

I found wondfo’s quite good, and fairly cheap! They are labelled as 10miu but I think they might be a bit more sensitive then that, as I had a faint line a day before a 10miu digital test showed positive. I’ve never had an evap with these either and used them for a few months before my BFP

I used to buy onestep from amazon which claimed to check down the 10iu/ml- same as branded FRER's.

Handy to have as cheap- BUT, always have branded FRER's as a backup and to confirm.

The one step ones were incredibly faint- even when I was pregnant (IVF, so I knew dates exactly and use am wee), there was an entire dud batch a few years ago and I also got false positives. So not great really!

I liked wondfo too.

I got a clear line at 4 days before missed period on these.

Think they were slightly more expensive than One Step but I thought they were better quality.

don’t suppose any of you have recommendations for ovulation tests aswell?
the current ones I use are the one step strips, but the only time I’ve ever had a positive on them is when I was already pregnant 🤦🏼‍♀️

I used a reusable, saliva OPK. Most of my British friends have never heard of them! I bought mine abroad, but you can buy them online. They are like a tiny microscope, you drop saliva on it, let it dry them look at the shape it makes. A fern pattern is fertile.

I had blood tests/ultrasounds which showed that I did ovulate, but I could never get on with the urine ones and never saw a peak- plus they were expensive! I had the saliva one for 13yrs whilst TTC- and still have it.

Another vote for wondfos I got my positives at 8DPO on those for both pregnancies. Easy@home for ovulation. Good luck!
