Getting pregnant after CP

I had a CP last week. I'm dying to be pregnant again and hopefully have a successful pregnancy.

I started the cb ovulation trackers yesterday but my cycles are all over the place atm. Last month i was 11 days late- we were trying so I was testing from around 8DPO so I deffo wasn't pregnant and then the month after I had a CP. I got pregnant easily with my first born and haven't had any issues with being late until we started trying so it's very confusing and frustrating.

So I'm just wondering when people got their BFP after having a CP?

Thank you xx

I could literally have written this post. I had a cp in March. Tbh I didn't ovulate until 7 weeks later, however when I did I got pregnant straight away. Currently 13 weeks with twins. I used fermometer cheapie ovulation strips and then clear blue when the fermometer started getting stronger. I also used proceive pre conceive multi vitamins and conceive plus gel. I didn't do the deed every day. When my ovulation kit started peaking I did it 4 days before. 2 days after to cover

@Ella31 sorry this happened to you to. huge congratulations on your twins!!! Are these your first?

Oh wow I wonder if I won't ovulate this cycle then? Ive got 8 tests left but if I run out I might order some more just so I'll know if I ovulate?xx

Hiya OP sorry to hear about your CP 😔 Ihad a CP at the start of June our first cycle TTC, it was a huge shock and the loss really got to me. My cycle seems to have got back in sync. On cycle 3 now CD8 we are trying SMEP method this month, using conceive plus lube and both me and DH taking pregnacare vitamins. Really hoping this month is our month and wishing you all the best. Xx

Sorry that happened to you @CatLadyH x

We're doing that too this month just cos my cycles are unpredictable so wanna be completely covered. I think I'm gunna be exhausted 😂

Hopefully we get our BFP soon!

I might try that conceive lube. I'm not taking any extra cuts other than folic acid atm

I don't want to make you feel it won't happen soon as I'm sure it's different for everyone but when I had a chemical it took 6 months to conceive again. That ended up being another chemical and then it took 8 months to conceive again but thankfully that pregnancy was a success and I now have my 18 month old. It's really crap when it happens but try and keep positive and keep going. It's always a good sign you've conceived it's just bad luck when it's a chemical

They are my first. The cp was my second loss so don't lose hope. I think the biggest thing for me and I know it's cliche but stress played a huge factor. Something clicked in me after the cp to let nature take its course and it worked. Your cycle could take time to come back but it will.

Also wanted to add, getting pregnant might not happen straight away, I know it did for me but I don't believe its the norm either. I think too many people say it is abd its really pressurising for couples who have lost. Definitely invest in yourself emotionally and try to stay positive. After my first loss i went down a dark rabbit hole of pain and it was hard.

I had a 2 CP’s (both at just before 6 weeks) 2 cycles in a row and then the following cycle tested positive again and am now 34+3 weeks. It doesn’t happen as quickly for everyone after a CP though and getting 2 in a row meant I thought I had no chance of keeping a pregnancy but luckily I was wrong and the losses were just one of those things. It did take me until cycle 5 to get the first bfp though so although it happened 3 cycles in a row it was a complete coincidence. Every cycle is like a new roll of the dice
