Pull out fails

What’s your pull out stories ladies?!

how long we’re you using this method and when did you DTD?!

me and my partner used the pull out all week after running out of condoms (neither bothered if I do fall pregnant we would be super happy!)

I started ovulating Sunday , we had sex Monday twice , pulling out both times. (3 days prior to ovulation). Then sex again last night using this method and it’s my main ovulation day.

so my question is will the chances of this method failing be higher due to I’m ovulating? And because we done it twice an hour apart! 🥰

i’m confused why you’re using pull out method when you sound like you’re hoping you could be pregnant?

CurlewKate · 14/07/2023 19:03

If you both want to have a baby, have unprotected sex. If one of you doesn't want to have a baby use effective contraception. HTH.

Used for quite a while - over a couple of years probably and didn’t get pregnant. Got pregnant straight away when stopped using that method so from my experience, it would be very unlikely.

I thought I was missing something. If you'd be "super-happy" about getting pregnant, why are you pulling out? This makes no sense...

It's almost feels like you're contriving a post that enables you to brag about how loved up you are and how often you are shagging!

But the answer to your question is "yes"... it's blatantly obviously that there's going to be higher chance of failure!

bakewellbride · 14/07/2023 22:21

I'm so confused, so you're ttc?

wutheringkites · 14/07/2023 22:22

Do you know that he doesn't need to pull out if you would both like you to get pregnant?

Isitthathardtobekind · 15/07/2023 12:13

Sounds to me like a plan hasn’t actually been made to get pregnant and you don’t want to commit to that plan, but you are thinking if it happens by mistake that it’ll be good. There must be something stopping you both committing to actually trying to get pregnant..

DarkForces · 15/07/2023 12:16

I think you need to decide together whether you want a baby then take steps either to make a baby or agree on contraception. This half way house is asking for trouble if he's not actually committed

TammyJones · 15/07/2023 18:06

I was pregnant within 12 weeks with this method of contraception.
My 'baby' is 28 tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

glasshalffull0 · 15/07/2023 19:48

Are you both TTC,, or are you hoping you get pregnant and your partner doesn't?

Yes, my guess that the OP would be "super happy", but the OP's DP isn't so sure, but makes all the right affirming noises when the OP says how happy she'd be to get pregnant,... but his actions say otherwise.

guineacup · 15/07/2023 22:28

Andi, if you get pregnant, at the very least your DP is surely going to be miffed that he's been curtailing his own sexual satisfaction for the past few weeks for no reason!

DaisyAmelie · 30/08/2023 11:05

Everyone needs to stop being so judgemental on this post! Asking all sorts of questions about the OP’s intentions and their relationship. She stated they both wouldn’t mind if they did get pregnant so leave it at that! We all know pull our method isn’t fool proof but she was asking for stories and other peoples experiences not rude judgments.

hope you got the answer you were looking for OP and whatever the outcome was you are happy either way x

We used the pull out method for years with no unplanned pregnancies. It does work for some of us OP.
