Stigaliptin for miscarriage?

Hi all. I've had 6 first trimester miscarriages, thankfully broken up mid way with my son (4).

All my tests have been normal (bar PCOS), up until being seen by the Tommy's clinic in Coventry run by Professor Brosens. I had a biopsy and this showed that the stem cells in my womb aren't supportive of a pregnancy. I've been prescribed stigaliptin and need to wait 2 cycles to ttc.

I can't really find any stories of people trying stigaliptin for miscarriage, has anyone had any experience of this? The wait to ttc is weirdly getting my hopes up which I don't really want to do!

Hi,
I haven’t heard of stigaliptin but it sounds hopeful! Hopefully it is the answer to this horrible journey that’s so unfair.

Ive had 3 consecutive mmc’s and wondered if I should see the Tommy’s clinic- do you mind me asking how long it took for Them to see you?

I Really hope it goes your way next time round - sending lots of strength your way xx

Hi, hope you’ve had better luck. I’ve just been prescribed stigaliptin and wondered how you got on. I wasn’t told to stop ttc during the medication and now wonder if it’s because I have such a low chance of conceiving anyway.

We’ve had 8 years of trying with 17 failed ivf transfers, 3 of which with donor eggs. We had one implant some years ago, but only got to 6 weeks. Professor Brosens said my result from the biopsy was rare and he re ran the sample to check it. Nk cells were normal, no endometritis but I had two very low bio markers when one should normally be high and the other low. So I got the impression the drug hasn’t been used before in my scenario. Below was from my report so interested if anyone out there has been told similar. Thank you and wish everyone all the best!

digital)EFT (digital endometrial function test), a novel test developed in our clinic that measures the preparedness of the endometrium for embryo implantation and the ability to transition into a pregnancy tissue (decidualization). The test is based on marker genes of two functionally distinct endometrial populations. While the ratio of these populations was considered normal, (39th percentile; normal range: > 25th percentile), it was also noted that absolute expression of each marker genes was ‘low’ (< 20th percentile)

@RumandSpinach I was just wondering how you getting on-I am finishing stigaliptin treatment.
has it made any difference for you?

I don't know if it made a difference unfortunately.

I got pregnant immediately on stopping but I miscarried as the pregnancy was a triploidy 😣

I haven't been pregnant since, we are considering adoption.
