short cycle question

Hiya - my cycle was generally about 26 days when I was on the mini-pill but since I have come off it seems to have settled to about 24 days. This month I supposedly ovulated on 16th day but then got period after 24 days. Leaving only 8 days for implantation

As my last period was on 1st feb I have now had two periods in one month, and it's the shortest month too!

should I be worried?

Are you sure you ovulated on the 16th do you use opk's.

I am concerned as my last cycle was only 23 days.
I am not using opk's don't know when I ovulate.

I bought some ovulation tests last month and wasted 6 with no positive. I used the last one on 16th of feb and got a very dark line so we got busy (And had been busy the few days before it being valentines day) so I was feeling quite hopeful but I knew 16th was a bit late.

I've never used OV sticks before that.

Just spoke to my friend and she took a year to conceive her first (though that was four years ago when we were both a lot younger - I'm 38 this year.) so I know that I shouldn't worry too much that it's taking a while but my age does play on my mind.

I had hormone tests last month as I was having blood tests anyway for something else but I still need to go back to have the one they recommend on day 21.

I share the age concern as well.
I am 37 38 in september this year.
I am worried I have left it too late for my 2nd.

I think thats why I am having a hard time of it.
I just want things to hurry up and be pregnant now.

I must admit I am not that knowledgable about cycles, ovualtion, etc, my ds was concieved last time without giving any of it a thought.

I used ovulation sticks the once but never got a positive.

scary isn't it. I'm just trying to take it as it comes but I know my boyfriend is getting twitchy.

I have tried to be relaxed about it but its hard.

at the moment its consuming my life.

I am on cd26 and have af symtoms so don't think I am pregnant this time.

I was also on the mini pill and my cycle got really short too. Having talked to the Dr I found it is not uncommon. I also used to get bleeding midmonth too.
My shortest was 14 days...so yes you can have two in one month,,,not fun eh?
I wish you loads of luck. I was also an older mother and now have three kids! So never say never...
