I’d say re test.

i tested at 4am and waited the correct amount, it was completely negative. Around 4pm i looked again not sure why and saw this.

i’m not actually late, im testing early. i’m 10 weeks postpartum and one night doing the “deed” our condom broke while i was ovulating. i took a plan b last week, but also researched plan b won’t work during ovulation. I am going to retest just to make sure, i’ll wait a couple of more days

If it's the same test you looked at after 12 hours then I'd say negative. Yes, wait a day or two to retest. Hope you get your desired outcome.
