Mid cycle bleeding after miscarriage

Hi everyone

I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago. I bled for a week and it stopped, a few days after that my hcg level was back down and tests negative. I have since been tracking ovulation with opks and am pretty sure I ovulated on CD 19/20. A day or so after ovulation I have started bleeding again. It's light but enough to warrant a liner and it's bright red in colour and has been going for a couple of days now .

Do you think ovulation has just caused any leftover to clear out?

I feel slightly disappointed as we were TTC again after the miscarriage and feel like it might be a wasted effort now as I'm bleeding again.

Has anyone else had anything similar? Ovulation to cause the bleeding to restart?

Hi OP. Sorry for your loss. MC can cause a bit of irregularity in my experience, but as you have negative tests and think you ovulated, I would check with GP to make sure all okay.

Hi, did you ever find out why this was? I am having the exact same thing now. Miscarriaged 3 weeks ago bleed stopped after about 10 days and I think I ovulated and now I’ve been bleeding again for 3 days.
