Negative test after miscarriage before trying again?

I’ve had a missed miscarriage last week I was supposed to be 10 weeks but baby stopped growing at 8 my bleeding has almost subsided now and I want to try and conceive again asap but wondering if I need a negative pregnancy test first? I done one today which is very much still positive but just wondering if the bleeding stops is it safe to try before getting negative, this was my first pregnancy so I haven’t a clue what I’m doing

Safe to try as soon as you stop bleeding.
I did, got pregnant straight away, no period in between but mc again, pregnant again now, early days though. Ur most fertile straight after a mc so go for it if u feel urentally ready. GL x

You won’t ovulate until you get a negative pregnancy test but it’s safe to have intercourse when bleeding has stopped. You don’t need to wait for your next cycle to start trying again, there just may be a bit of difficulty dating a pregnancy if you fall pregnant without having a period first.

You don't have to but I think it's sensible to wait for a negative test.

I always remember seeing a post on here and the poor lady had a miscarriage then started trying again as soon as she stopped bleeding without waiting for a negative test, then a few weeks later when she was testing she didn't know if it was old HCG or a new pregnancy and it was a real emotional rollercoaster for her.

I waited for the negative test and a period (dr told me to) then fell again immediately the following month so I think the increase in fertility is still true for a while post MC, rather than just immediately

Thank you for your advice, I just want to be pregnant again so badly! I know ther could be confusion in HCG but as soon as I was pregnant the last time I was sick and other really obvious symptoms that might help me know if I was again or not, i just wondered if ther was any actual risks to baby or me from doing it this way

You need a negative test first. Your body will also still be healing and will take a while (I went through the same thing as you in January). I was told to wait until I'd had another cycle before trying again. Not all pregnancy symptoms will be the same either so you may not be able to tell the difference.

Thank you for the advice my heart is saying just try now but my head is saying let myself heal and reset first, I think I will go with my head after this advice thank you all for responses such a shit time but great to hear from those who understand it

I had a MC and then had one period, and then fell pregnant right away.

I think it's super important to let yourself heal.
