Heavy bleed - CP - then BFP!?

Hi everyone I've been TTC no 2 for over 4 years with no success

I'm looking for any thoughts on my current situation I had what I thought was a CP last week - I got a vvfl on cheapie followed by positive early digital on 13DPO, only to start cramping and bleeding heavily the next day.

I bled heavy for 2 days then it tapered off and stopped by day 3, I accepted that I'd had a chemical. I then took another test yesterday (6 days after I began to bleed) to confirm that my hcg levels had gone, only it was a dark positive (21DPO) much darker than the week before .. I followed up with a week indicator digital which showed pregnant 2-3 (which would be correct)

My fertility unit won't get me in to do anything unless I get another positive test early next week but I'm basically freaking has anyone had a heavy (implantation? or other?) bleed followed by successful pregnancy ??

or is it likely my body is just delaying the inevitable bad outcome!

Sorry to hear this, it must be scary and mentally draining. My sister had a miscarriage and then fell pregnant before her next period. She started bleeding around 6 weeks and thought she had another miscarriage but she didn't. She bled throughout her pregnancy and had a dd.

Did you test when you started bleeding? I think either you had a chemical and your body is taking its time for the hcg levels to go or you may be bleeding through your pregnancy. Ultimately, I think I think you're in the difficult "wait and see" situation.

Thanks for responding! So yeah I tested day before bleed and had a very faint positive then bled, stopped, tested again 6 days after that test and it's a much stronger positive. Hmm all very confusing lol!!

How many weeks would you be now OP? Can you book a private scan? I'm currently having a CP atm. It's really draining so this must be really weird and a rollercoaster for you. Really hope everything's ok x

aw I'm so sorry to hear that they really are awful I've previously had another one too.
I would be 5 weeks today most private scans are from 6 onwards I'll see what happens next week and if hosp don't offer me one I think I'll need to go down that route!
