Can early pregnancy feel as though AF is coming

Hi

I am ttc my 2nd dc and I am currently on CD 25.

For over a week now I have felt as though AF is trying to come with typical symptoms such as mild cramps and aches.

I also seem to be getting slight waves of nausea.

There is still no sign of AF coming but I contine to get all of these feelings.

What do you think could I be pregnant.

Hi zez, we are ttc our second too and today I got a very faint positive on a First Response test but like you I really feel AF is about to start. Think I felt like this on dd too so I'd say it is possible you might be pregnant. Would you test? By the way my AF not due for 3 days so tested a bit early with impatience.

You could be, but you could also be about to get your period. I am in the same position. This is my 5th month trying and I haven't felt like this since the first month. Day 24 here and it's nailbiting.

When are you testing?

what you describe is pretty much how I felt just before I found out I was pregnant and for a while afterwards.

My problem is that I am not sure when AF should be due.

My AF went awol last year for 3 months caused by a underactive thyroid.

It returned December 07 and on its return I have had a 23 day cycle and a 33 day cycle.

If this is a 23 day cycle I could test, but I am wondering if no AF if I should wait until cycle day 33.

on day cd 29 and have felt as if period coming as have had stomach cramps and waves of nausea too!
stopped pill 23rd of last month so periods might be late coming back
tested yest morn bfn going to test in a wk if no af

I think if no AF then I will hold out until cd 33 at least.

At least I can imagine that I am pregnant and enjoy the feeling.

Cannot face that BFN that I suspect I will get when I test.

God I hate the uncertainty.

I felt permanently pre-menstrual for the first 3m of my 1st pregnancy

if mine's not here by wednesday I'm testing.

I remember getting menstrual feelings in my last pregancy.

I am constantly checking to see if af as started.

Was convinced that i wasn't pregnant with both of my pregnancies due to af symptoms but my dd is 3 and im 27wks with no 2 so there's still hope !! fingers crossed for you xxx
