Endometriosis and hypothyroidism while TTC?

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone has managed to successfully have a baby despite having both an underactive thyroid and endometriosis while TTC?

Bit of background - I am 35, have been TTC #1 for around 18 months. Fell pregnant for the first time after one year but it sadly ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks. I have several health issues that I fear will spell bad news for me - I am having my thyroid checked as I think I have hypothyroidism (or at least subclinical) and I'm awaiting a laparoscopy for endometriosis, I have adhesions on my left ovary. I also have a few other issues relating to psoriatic arthritis, an autoimmune disease.

Basically, it feels like an impossible mountain to climb. I'm starting to feel like too much is wrong with me to conceive and carry a baby to term, especially at my age.

Has anyone had to deal with both thyroid issues and endometriosis simultaneously and has a success story?

Thanks in advance ❤️

No, but I found out I was subclinical hypothyroid after 12 months of trying to conceive. GP said I could go on thyroxine, and I was pregnant 12 months later.

I actually got pregnant when I started taking thyroxine too! My gp put me on it even before my diagnosis as I wasn’t conceiving. Not sure about the endo sorry, hopefully someone who knows more about that will be along soon! Good luck.

Only endo here 🙋‍♀️ I'm 38, I have a 16 and 14 and 2 year old and suffered mmc in may... Currently ttc again don't give up 🤞
