CD34 no positive OPK... help!

Hi

Currently CD34 with no positive OPK. Last month it was CD35 and ended up in a BFN.

I feel like this is really late to be ovulating. I have been tracking CM and BBT too so I know last month I definitely ovulated but wonder if it's too late for anything to happen.

Would love to hear some success story's and advice! I will leave below what I'm currently taking/doing 🙈 as I'm trying my hardest to shorten them!

  • healthy diet and exercise
  • acupuncture twice a month
  • vitamins (folic acid, insitol, macaroot, vitamin C)
  • had bloods and scan done and all fine by doctor

what OPKs have you been using? Premom?

ABLOSSOM · 09/07/2023 11:22

Yes! Last month I got my peak CD35 and it's CD35 today nothing 😞

What’s the difference in the readings? I’m fairly new to opks etc but my first peak was only 0.8 I know they can vary but average peak is about a 0.8-1.0. It’s mind boggling and a whole new world to me.

ABLOSSOM · 09/07/2023 12:51

@CatLadyH I've attached 2 pictures. One was last month with my peak and then this month. I haven't had anything higher than 0.47! I have had other symptoms (EWCM and some cramps) but my BBT isn't getting higher either.

When do you test? On my peak last time it was first thing although I know it's advised not to do at that time. I have been doing some afternoon tests but there even fainter!

Just lost on what to do, I've been doing all the right things to shorten my cycle but now it looks like it'll be longer than last month (51 days!).

Thank you for getting back to me. Xx

Hi @ABLOSSOM similar to you I’ve been known not to get a peak until around CD32/33 - it’s so frustrating waiting that long! All blood tests fine, healthy BMI etc.

I was referred to fertility clinic because we were trying a year and only had one positive (MMC unfortunately). I’m now starting on ovulation induction to try and speed up ovulation. Currently CD 14 and hoping to see a peak soon!

How long have you been trying? Can you get your GP to refer you? x

ABLOSSOM · 09/07/2023 16:50

@ChipAndDip that's brilliant I am so glad that helped for you! And fingers crossed you get your BFP soon ✨

In August we will have been trying (although not every month tracking etc) for a year. My partner is waiting for a sperm analysis before we can get a referral. His GP are being really slow with it.

CD37 and no sign of a positive..... I've had EWCM last week and now nothing I'm so confused.

Sorry you’re still waiting @ABLOSSOM 😞 I had a look back at my notes and my latest peak was CD39 so it could still happen. Make sure you keep a log and let your fertility clinic know once you get your referral. I actually had a referral while we were waiting for husbands SA so maybe you could push your GP to speed things up?

ABLOSSOM · 11/07/2023 17:24

@ChipAndDip thank you that is nice reassurance - just wanted it to happen by now and worried that these longer cycles mean I can't conceive. Are you still/how long have you been TTC?

I have tried to push it but I have been told by my GP they won't take a referral without SA. 😩
