Am I having an early miscarriage? :(

I posted recently that I found out I was pregnant days after having what I thought was my period. Much wanted - TTC 6 months. Clear blue digital stated 2-3 weeks pregnant on Tuesday. The bleeding which was lighter than my usual period lasted a couple of days then slight light brown discharge. Then it stopped. My last period was 3rd June and my bleeding started (hopefully implantation bleeding) 28th june. I believe I ovulated around 14th June as was using clear blue ovulation tests.
I went to EPU today due to being worried about the initial bleeding and having the brown discharge. My hcg is 44. She told me not to worry as I am still so early on in my pregnancy and could only be 3-4 weeks so 44 is okay. Told me it’s up to me whether I come back Saturday for another hcg test but advised doing a pregnancy test in 2 weeks when I’ll be around 6 weeks as it’s too low to scan at the moment
I am beside myself with worry. I still tested positive this morning. I’ve had more brown discharge today. Has anyone experienced this and what was the outcome for you? 🙁

I had similar on my first pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test the Monday which was very very faint (husband said he couldn't see it).

On the Tuesday got what I thought was my period. Very light brown / pink blood not much. On the weds I felt different so took a digital and it was positive 1-2 weeks. Was still bleeding on the Friday. So had bloods then and on the Monday and all was ok. She is now 3.

I would say I bleed for about 5/6 days in total and it was enough to need a panty liner. Fingers crossed for you x

I would take the second test. A really good increase will give you some peace of mind x

The same thing happened to me and this is my first baby. I was non stop worrying and looking everything up on the internet. Mine was a brown colour but I had also had a very early scan and it showed that everything was just fine. Mine stopped around 10 weeks I think. I know it's not easy trying to relax when your worried but fingers crossed everything goes really well for you :) xx

She basically told me that she thinks if I have my hcg tested Saturday that even if it doubled, they wouldn’t be able to do a scan coz the levels would still be too low so didn’t see the point.. but did say it’s up to me.
But you are right, it could give me peace of mind and either way at least I would know more then, whether things are going the right direction or not. Maybe I’ll phone back tomorrow and say I’ve changed my mind and would like them done on Saturday.
I would have said yes but she was saying if she was me she would just wait 2 weeks to do another pregnancy test 😞

@Katyx6 it is too early to do a scan but like you said may give you an indication as it should double every 48 hours. Personally I would take the test. Two weeks is such a long time and one set of hcg means nothing on its own x

I would go and do another blood test just to see what direction it’s going. Happened with me in February. My period arrived but was very short only 3 days then on day 7 after my period I was feeling off and did pregnancy test and it was positive. Next day started bleeding again but just like brownish blood went to EPU and done blood test I don’t remember my numbers but I did another 2 blood tests after that and at the end they told me I had early miscarriage. I hope it’s not the case for you but better be safe than sorry as it’s can be ectopic as well ☹️
