So I am cycle 2 TTC baby #2, last month I used just cheapie easy@home ovulation tests. Did SO many as first time using them and wanted to catch my ovulation as I didn’t know when I usually ovulate.
This month, I decided to get the CB digital advanced ovulation tests, I have been testing once a day each morning and got an empty circle.
i am suppose to ovulate in 4/5 days (app days 4 days which will be CD 16 but last month I ovulated on CD 17 so not sure why.. so we’ll go with in 4/5 days), however something told me to start taking the cheapie tests also this afternoon, now that I’m a few days away from ovulating. I was only taking the cb at first and was going to start taking the cheapies to see line progression and confirm the cb etc nearer ovulation. So I’ve tested again today with a cheapie at 1pm, and got a darker line than I did last month on CD 12, not as dark as the control line, but darker than last month, which I was very faint up until the day before I got my surge, so I took a cb advanced to see if I progressed to a flashing smiley as this morning I had an empty circle, and it went straight to a static smiley! I took the test out but the first line is lighter than the second, ALOT darker than all the other tests from the last few days up until this morning (will insert photo), but still not darker or as dark as the control line? Which it should be surely for peak ovulation or an LH surge.. I’m so confused… is this correct? I know you can ovulate earlier or later some cycles too given I’m a few days early this month but given the line thing, how early I am and how quickly it turned positive it’s very confusing and hard not to be sceptical..
