SMEP help!

Hi, wondering if anyone could help me. TTC on cycle #5 and gonna give SMEP a go this time!
it says to start bd on day 8 but is that going off a ‘normal’ ovulation day around cd14? Been tracking bbt for ages and consistently ovulate on cd19 so later than average, but does this mean we should start a few days later? Starting on cd8 when I don’t ovulate until cd19 seems really early and I’d quite like to save our energy! Both OH and I really struggle with BD towards the end of the fertile window it’s becoming quite tiring!

any tips/info very welcome 😊

Hey, yes I assumed it does.

I decided to follow it that way the first time I tired it and it worked the first month for us. I ovulated on day 12 / 13 though so I supposed even the day 8 sperm had some chance. I have ovulated as late as day 16 so I guess I was lucky I ovulated early.

You could start it a bit later if your consistently ovulating later but still follow the same pattern. Hope it works for you x

Yes I’d start on day 12 or 13. It’s a lot of effort!

@Hazelnuttella yes it definitely we both said that when we got to the end of it haha
