TTC and Endo

Hi everyone 😊 been trying for over a year now and on cycle 14. I've also had 2 chemicals - possibly more. I've just had some tests done and my AMH is 19.6. Had anyone else any experience with endo or AMH figures. I've been told it's within normal range for my age but I've not got anything to compare it against. I'm thinking of going to a private consultant who specialises in endo to see what they think I should do next. I'm thinking a lap might be needed

I have endo... How old are you? Not sure on my AMH I darent actually test that. I had 2 daughters they're now teens... For diagnosed with endo a few years later. It took me 1 years to have a successful pregnancy.. Then only 2 cycles to conceive again but unfortunately just had an MMC... They don't think it was connected to my endo though. Now ttc again

Hey I have endo too. It’s good to know your amh before doing a lap as any surgery on ovaries can damage ovarian reserve, if your amh is good then you don’t need to worry as much as lots of eggs left even if some are damaged in the lap. Also good to know if you have endometriomas as they may not need to operate on the ovaries directly anyway. If you go for the lap defo find an endo excision expert, not a general gynae x

@Kellyaust I'm 31. Sorry to hear about your mmc. It's horrible. As I've had failed implantation at least twice I'm thinking it might be the endo for me getting in the way. I'm going to pay to see an endo specialist and see what they say.

@Endomummy thank you. Yes I have found an endo specialist but need to see if Benenden will cover it as I can't afford to pay for the surgery privately. 3 week wait just to speak to my gp!

Hi, your AMH level is not low. Follow the fit clinic on Instagram she has different posts on the levels for age range!
I am 32 and had a lap in June which found endo (no symptoms). I had the lap done as fertility investigations due to TTC for over a year.
after my lap my AMH levels are now half of what they were before the lap. As I didn’t even think I had endo, I hadn’t read up or researched the aftermath of the surgery. However so many people have told me all it takes is one egg, so I’m trying to think positive.
the next cycle after my surgery I got pregnant but it ended as a chemical pregnant which was very upsetting but there is one positive, it can’t be a coincidence that I got pregnant straight away after the endo excision. I have been trying each month since with no joy and have been prescribed Letrozole (stimulants for follicle) and Gonasi trigger shot to take for my next 4 cycles alongside Folicle tracking during CD10-12 each cycle. Due my period later this week so will be starting these meds then!
