We are TTC no 2 and as I'm 37 and we have been trying for 7mths I started charting last month and used an ovulation kit.

Unfortunately my fertile time coincided with my parents being here to look after DS on the Friday. DH was out drinking on Thursday night so on Friday morning we started doing the deed. The bed starting squeaking like crazy, so we decamped onto the floor. At this moment DS wakes up in his nursery and all we can hear is him cooing and laughing with Granny right outside the door. Arrghh ! So we try the bathroom but my head keeps butting against the bath and making more noise. Finally we manage the deed back on the bed using a less squeak inducing position. Oh and we repeated the whole thing all over again on Saturday, this time DS was pulling at the door handle with Granny saying, oh no I think Mummy & Daddy are still asleep, whilst the bed posts groaned.

Kinda takes the romance out of it, but I'm sure we aren't the only ones....

heehee rookie, it's all in good taste! we have a metal head board that creaks and bangs against the wall, we often stuff a pillow between the wall and the headboard to try and stop the noise children are always catching us at it! They will probably need therapy when they grow up I am nearly 43 and DH 48 so bathroom floor definately out now, DH has a bad back!![too much b/d] Now that we have laminated floors the bed has started to move and pillow is falling, we will have to come up with a better plan? or maybe now I have my BFP he can whistle for it!!heehee
