What do we make of this? Gone from low, to a bit higher, to very very low 🤷🏼‍♀️

Has anyone had a pregnancy with such low LH levels?

How long are your cycles? Looks like you aren't ovulating yet.

I'm usually 30 days with a peak between 15-18. This month I'm on day day and still nothing though!!

FoodFann · 01/07/2023 14:12

@pinkandredflowers my cycles are 27 days, so I was hoping to be ovulating about now. Thanks so much for your help, I’m new to E@H. I’ll keep testing. I was taking Soy this month, so maybe peaked early and missed it 🤷🏼‍♀️ how long have you been trying for? Any tips?! 😆

According to these tests I never ovulated, but the 6 month old sitting in my lap would disagree 😅

FoodFann · 01/07/2023 14:23

@JanS17 aw lovely, congratulations! Were your levels as low as mine?

pinkandredflowers · 01/07/2023 20:32

@FoodFann possibly! But defo keep testing as you never know.

With my first, it was my first time trying OPKs and I didn't think they worked because I was so low half way thru my cycle. Ending up getting a positive on CD25!!! And now have a 2.5 year old 🤣 so grateful that I used them that month because we had 100% finished doing the deed for the month assuming ovulation was way over and only started again because of the positive!

I must be a very late ovulater or just happy to have weird cycles when I use the tests. Defo keep testing tho you never know!

FoodFann · 01/07/2023 20:57

@pinkandredflowers wow! Thank goodness for the OPKs! I’ll definitely keep testing. Thank you for the tip

I'm the same as @pinkandredflowers
I gave up testing a few months in a row because it felt so late in my cycle without seeing a positive.
The month I conceived was the first month I got a positive result and that was around 5/6 days later than the app suggested I should ovulate. I have average 26 day cycles so hadn't expected to ovulate so late. Keep going and good luck!

FoodFann · 02/07/2023 08:22

@afinethingindeed thank you so much, I’m going to keep testing in case I have a later peak. Will have to resume BDing if so. We’re a bit spent for the time being thinking the best time was now 😮‍💨😆 congratulations on your bfp!

I think you're right to keep testing. Mine were the same until about day 16. I can't get them all to fit in the picture for you unfortunately, but CD13 was 0.09 and CD14 was 0.11 (and by CD25 it was back down to 0.1).

Should have said that's this cycle so no idea if I'm pregnant yet, sorry...I know that doesn't answer all your questions, but just wanted to reassure you that low levels around the time you expect high ones doesn't mean it's not on its way!

FoodFann · 02/07/2023 11:27

@DaisyJ24 fingers crossed for you! How long have you been TTC? Thank you for sharing your pic too. Very helpful. I did have a random 35 day cycle a few months ago, so maybe ovulation does come v late for me sometimes. I’ll keep checking 🙏🏻🤞🏻

Hi @FoodFann, I'm glad it was useful! I always find looking at others' pictures helpful, I looked at lots of OPKs on this forum last month to try and understand what I was looking for! (although thank goodness for the Premom app, otherwise I'd be driving myself mad with trying to compare the lines). 🤞🏻 for you that you've seen a rise today or will soon!!

I came off the pill a while ago but didn't get a withdrawal bleed until May, so started actively trying then so this is my second cycle of consciously trying to track everything and time it. What about you?

FoodFann · 03/07/2023 21:54

@DaisyJ24 ah good luck it will be very soon for you. My periods came back straight away after the pill, but it took 4 months to conceive first DD. We’re now 8 cycles into TTC baby2! Still no sign of peak 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll keep checking. Easy@home are going to make a fortune out of me, I’m checking 2-3 times a day 😆😱

DaisyJ24 · 03/07/2023 23:17

Thank you! I stupidly thought they'd come back straight away (what with all the warnings on the pill packet about the risk of getting pregnant after missing one pill!) but feeling a bit more reassured now.

Fingers crossed for you that you conceive no. 2 soon! How frustrating for you that there's still no peak... Have you used OPKs before this cycle? It is so expensive isn't it 🙈and a bit addictive!! I went through so many Clear Blue tests in the first few weeks of waiting for my periods to return. Trying to limit myself now and be more sensible, so won't test until a week tomorrow now when AF is due...

FoodFann · 08/07/2023 18:47

@DaisyJ24 how are you getting on? Any signs of success yet?

I was using clearblue before too, and got the ‘2 most fertile days’- thank you for reminding me about those, I might give them another go. Easy@home are stressing me out a bit. I’m on CD21 now and have higher LH levels than during the ‘fertile week’. Who knows!

Hi @FoodFann ,

Not my month this month, as my period turned up on Wednesday (only 8DPO but CD30 I think)😞I wasn't very well for a couple of weeks though, so though I'm disappointed I'm not hugely surprised. Still early days of trying really, but I'm past 35 so that's not on my side.

How are you doing? I can see how the tests could be a real headache if the results aren't clearcut, maybe if they're not helping ditch them next month and just DTD often enough to try and be covered at any point? Easier said than done, I know. I thought they'd help me feel in control but I think they might just drive me mad in the long run if I have to use them for too long 😂Hope you're doing OK and are successful this cycle.

FoodFann · 11/07/2023 11:57

@DaisyJ24 I’m sorry you’re out this month. Hope you’re feeling better too. Don’t be worried about your age, there are more new mums over 40 than there are under 20 these days, so you’ve got a good few years left in you yet! CoQ10 is supposed to be recommended by fertility drs to improve egg quality.

Yes, I agree that the OPK testing can drive you a bit mad! But, I kept testing, as everyone advised, and randomly ovulated yesterday - a full week late! So, if it wasn’t for the OPKs we wouldn’t have timed DTD accurately at all. Maybe all the supplements I’m taking threw my cycle out of sync 🤷🏼‍♀️ fingers crossed 🤞🏻 Makes me think now, maybe all those other months I was TCT were also off by a few days or a week.
