Hi, I am looking for some help because I am very confused.

I did a pregnancy test which shown up instantly, a couple of minutes later it had changed to negative. Checked it again after about 20 and there was a very faint positive

I will be doing another one in the morning with my first wee but it has really puzzled me.

What brand did you use?
When I’ve done them in the past, whilst it’s ‘loading’ (not the right word but can’t think of the right one just now 😂) the colour changes and I think I see lines but it’s just drying.
I would ignore any lines after the time out. I’d buy another one tomorrow and check again. How early are you testing?

It is just a cheap test from amazon. I am not convinced it is a positive but I have just never seen that happen before 😂 I am just puzzled by it and wondered if it had happened to anyone else. I am due on today

Ignore any lines before the time stated or after. The line you see happening immediately is the dye running through the test. After the recommended time if there's a line then congratulations it's positive. If it's outside the time frame it could be an evap, dye run or positive. Test again in the morning. Good luck x

Exactly as I thought, thank you
