Hey everyone,

I’ve been researching about the benefits of Inositol for women with PCOS and all round how it helps fertility in women.

My partner is starting to take wellman conception this cycle and it includes inositol which aids sperm quality just so we can make sure we are covering everything as we’re going into cycle 6 once AF shows up.

basically I’m just wondering has anyone got any suggestions if you are taking inositol what brand you would recommend?

I should state I’m from UK.

Thank you.

@thelma57 thank you for the recommendation.

My periods are quite regular between 28-31 days.
I had taken Macca root one month and it helped hold high readings on my ovulation tests and peel whereas I usually get 1 high and my peak in one day then about an hour after peak goes straight to low but Macca root gave me cramps and multiple loose bowel movements so I didn't like taking it.

That is amazing, I'm going to pop on now and have a look at that link. Appreciate it!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Not long now 💜

No problem at all, wishing you all the luck! Just to mention as well, my LH surges when testing were very short, up and down in one afternoon, luckily I had too much time on my hands the day I ovulated and tested 4 times 😂

@thelma57 I test once a day until around CD 10 then twice a day, luckily I have always caught my peak which seems to be in the evenings lol. Last month we DTD 8 days una row during my fertile window and was so disappointed we didn't fall pregnant, this month we managed 3 but AF due tomorrow and she is deffs on her way so we have lots of new things to try next cycle.
Thanks you

I also use myova.... Just wondering do you still use it when you conceive or do you stop and use pregnancy vits?

Kellyaust · 29/06/2023 13:33

Also, just reading and maybe a point to think about that I've always read that dtd every day doesn't give the sperm chance to regenerate so to speak... So doing it every other day including the peak day could be better 🤔 fingers crossed for you 🤞

Fellow PCOS sufferer here!

I buy the pure powder form from Amazon (the brand doesn't tend to matter) and take a teaspoon a day. Had no periods post pill for 9 months until I started inositol regularly and now have a 35-45 day cycle consistently so it's made a massive difference. Also managed to conceive in April but unfortunately ended in a chemical, convinced it was only possible thanks to the inositol though!

Good luck x

I take infolic alpha from fertility family. I had no cycles at all prior to taking it due to PCOS, 6 months later I'm now pregnant (7+3). Honestly had to scrape my jaw off the floor when I got my bfp, never believed it would happen for me.

sorry for being MIA, been so busy.
i’m CD4 today, AF still here, but my myo-inistol was delivered yesterday; the ingredients are pictures below, would you recommend taking anything else ontop of what’s included? I’m not sure that covers my folic acid part of it?
It says to take 2 in morning and 2 on evening.

Inositol

Freak Athletics have a pretty good one, I take 5000mg a day.

YouBoggleMyMind · 04/07/2023 10:28

Yes, the folate covers the folic acid part you need and is a better version. Add in vitamin D and you're good to go.

Nmmck93 · 04/07/2023 10:29

@YouBoggleMyMind thank you, gunna order some vitamin D now on boots to pick up and start taking these.

Appreciate all the advice.
Baby Dust to all trying to conceive. ✨
