Anyone experience bad side effects whilst on Clomid? My menstrual cramps have been insane and I feel extremely irritable and anxious. Cd3 and second pill down only. Not feeling happy 😕

On my first cycle 50mg I had bad cramps the entire month. I literally felt like i was on my period the whole duration. I did ovulate and had a nice progesterone rise afterwards but big fat negative.

I will also add that my ovulation was very painful and continued for a week afterwards. Day 1 and 2 of clomid I felt very dehydrated and tired after the pill but it eased few days in.

Cycle 2 : still on 50mg absolutely zero side effects. Kinda felt like it wasn't working. I did ovulate but 11 days later this month on cd31. I chart my body temp and its a little wacky this month which further adds to my suspicion that clomid isn't doing its job properly this month.
Tested this morning. Not pregnant this month either

I felt extremely depressed on the lower dose and when they upped it I felt virtually suicidal. It was truly horrible. I also got bad headaches. I stopped it straight away when it got so bad.

My first 2 cycles on Clomid seemed fine but then the dosage was increased to 100mg. Since then my cycles have been more than 60 days long and that was even after trying to induce period using Provera. I have now stopped Clomid…

Im starting my clomid soon. AF is due on the 28th and will be taking it from day 3 onwards.
@JulieMcKnight how did you get on with it in the end? I really hope this cycle worked for you x ❤️

Hi ladies, has anyone else had a late period while taking clomid? First cycle was bang on 28 days but I’m now 5 days late but scared to test as don’t want the disappointment of a BFN in case it’s just the meds. I’ve been trying for 2 years so this is quite challenging mentally

My obstetrician:gynae warned me that it doubles your chances or conceiving a multiple pregnancy. It’s VERY effective. I conceived twins while it was still in my handbag!

Hi,
I took the first cycle of Clomid and ovulated.
two days before my period was due I started to spotting. I am thinking it’s the start of my period but now 3rd day of spotting and it never got heavier. Took pregnancy test all negative.

do I continue taking Clomid this cycle? Or could I be pregnant?

it is advised to stop Clomid if pregnant as it can cause side effects?

please help

Hi there! I used Clomid, and it worked exactly as it should! As for side effects, I might have experienced something minor at first, but nothing serious at all. Of course, everything is individual and depends on your body’s specifics. The most important thing is to use high-quality Clomid to ensure the best results and minimize side effects. That’s why I personally ordered Clomid from a trusted online pharmacy that I’ve been using for years and fully trust. If it helps anyone, I got mine here – topsup24.com/buy-clomid-uk.html. My order arrived quickly, but most importantly, the medication worked perfectly! 😊

If you're experiencing side effects, there are a few things that might help. Staying well-hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet can make a difference, as can getting enough rest. Light exercise, like walking or yoga, may help reduce mood swings and anxiety. Some women find that taking Clomid at night helps lessen side effects during the day. If the cramps are severe, a heating pad or mild pain relief (approved by your doctor) could be useful. And most importantly, if anything feels overwhelming, don’t hesitate to check in with your doctor—they can offer guidance tailored to your needs. Hang in there! 💕
