Clearblue Advanced Digital - help I’m confused!!!

We are TTC no.2 since January, had a MMC in March. I’m on CD10 and have been using the CB advanced ovulation tests to find my high and peak fertility days. I started testing on day 7 and had a blank, then on day 8 I got a flashing smiley and for the last couple of days it’s been blank again…

im just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Unsure whether to keep testing and dismiss the day 8 flashing as a funny reading?

I haven’t experience this sorry but I don’t really understand how it tests for the flashing face hormone (oestrogen?)

normally in my 28/30 day cycle I ovulate around cd12-18. how dark are the inside lines looking?

Thanks @KittyAllTheWay for replying! I don’t really understand it either… the test has one very dark line and one very faint one (as in almost invisible). Pretty sure the one I got the flashing smiley with on CD8 looked fairly similar. Bit frustrating really but I suppose I’ll keep on testing and hope for the best!

So I’ve been really struggling with mine this month weirdly but this is what they look like for me and the left hand line is normally as dark or darker (as you’d expect from
normal dip ones I guess lol)

my top was a peak (but I’m not sure it’s dark enough)

so I would keep testing and hopefully you might see the line get progressively darker as it gets closer to your surge 🙂🤞

I have something similar, i had a blank circle and then at CD11 i had a static smiley and then it went blank CD12. i kept testing (used another digital stick as i had a spare) and got a flashy smiley on CD13 (evening). i found that the slight jump in oestrogen or LH causes this to happen (at the time i also tested on a LH stripe and it had jumped from 0.19 to 0.49). so yep agree...keep testing and good luck!

I had this and it turned out I had ovulated for the month. It doesn't always happen when it should.

Thanks @BiscuitsandPuffin thats interesting to know! I’m still get blanks so perhaps I did just ovulate early… will keep testing til I run out of sticks anyway.

So cd12 today? Yeah last month it happened for me at cd18 and it was SO pale before that I didn’t think it was going to happen, but it did! Fingers crossed it comes soon 🙂
