Periods after very early miscarriage?

I did a pregnancy test on Tuesday and it came back positive. On Thursday I had a fall and because of that, I did a test on Friday morning and it was negative (I'm sure that wasn't a result of fall as was too soon).
Anyway, I am now experiencing what seems like a very typical period and I'm wondering if it is or not? I had some spotting first and then a little (really not very much) clotting and now what seems like a proper period. Do you think it is or not? If so, can we start trying again afterwards?

Hi, you can start trying whenever you like!
A lot of pg's are detected because of early testing when they aren't destined to be viable and come out as a slightly late/heavy period.
Tbh I don't count these as m/c.
Some people call them chemical pg's.

Yup- agree with kitty - it sounds like a cp. I had one at the beginning of the year and went on to have odd spotting followed by a very, very heavy period - past that (and being vastly upset!) nothing else.xx
