Reassurance :-(

About to start ttc no.2, so I had a scan a few weeks ago to double check everything okay after a brief spell of painful ovulation that's since resolved. DD turns 1 next week, so I just put it down postnatal weirdness. Called the surgery for my results the other day, and expected to be told 'scan clear, no problem' but instead I have to speak to a doc. Receptionist booked a 'routine phone appointment' for a week's time.

Surely if it was anything more serious than a cyst or something they'd be sure to call and discuss sooner? I'm slightly worried because my surgery is very shit so just looking for reassurance really.

Of course the only available appointment for weeks is on my daughter's first birthday 😔and I guess we should put off ttc until I know more.

They probably just want to discuss if you need or want any further steps if you're still having pain or are uncomfortable. Our doctors generally offers a phone debrief after tests even just to say 'Blood tests were clear but are you still suffering with X?'

Hey OP sorry to hear about your worries. Do you have any updates? I also had a scan for pelvic pain which I believe is around my left ovary but was just told scans were clear with no further follow up or suggestions despite ongoing concern
