Sore nipples only??

Hi there,

so before my period I’ve always gotten sore boobs but always the whole boob and nipple gets sore and big. I’ve never felt only my nipples be sore, and for the past 5 days that’s how it’s been. They’re so stingy and painful that even fabric hurts.

i also normally get cramps 1 day before my period but I’ve had cramps for 5 days on and off as well.

im not totally sure how many dpo I am, I think around 9dpo. But I did a FRER and came back negative so I’m really confused. Has anyone experienced just sore nipples when pregnant or is that something you’ve experienced before af too?

I've heard that's specifically a pregnancy symptoms however if you had symptoms you'd expect enough hcg to show on a test BUT if you are only 9dpo then it's also early to expect a positive. Being a woman is confusing 🤣. Sorry I made that no clearer for you but I wouldn't be surprised if you get a bfp in the next few days xx

Yes, nearly a week before I tested positive. A really soft fluffy bath sheet felt like barbed wire crossed with sandpaper. She's 25 now.

It's possible that HCG isn't high enough to be detected but you can get symptoms from other hormones shifting around such as progesterone!

This was my first sign!
My nipples were so hard and sore every before implantation bleeding. Boobs were fine though until later.

Wow thanks for these guys! It’s been about 6 days of sore nipples for me now and I’m not sure when to test! The cramps lasted for 4 days and I think they finally stopped yesterday. While I was cramping I kept feeling like I was coming on and went to check if I was bleeding but I wasn’t. Not sure why they’ve stopped now, but nipples still sore as ever.

I’m planning to just play the waiting game but not sure for how long. I’m apparently due my period in 3 days, my app isn’t always accurate though my periods can be irregular

Aside from those period like cramps, I haven’t felt anything that made me think it’s implantation, so I’m not sure if that has even happened yet

I can’t tell if there is a shadow of a line or if it’s an indent. Anyone? I probably have line eyes 😂 I had really sharp pains last night though in my tummy

when we had our first, the main symptom was sore nipples! Like unbearably sore when showering, trying to wash etc

I will say though frer are AWFUL for their lines 😭 I just shared these on another thread but these are the two worst indents I’ve had (one of them the last and I stopped buying frer) so be cautious

Same - what was your outcome if you don’t mind me asking too - my cycle is all over the place I’m on cd23 end of last year my cycles were 25 days but started mini pill in march and came off in June and had 3 periods since with 29-31 day cycle so I’m not testing yet but I’m exactly same as you xx

I am dealing with the same thing. My boobs are not hurting but my nipples are and I am also having milky discharge. I also have 5 days till my period and cramping. Because of the milk I had them blood test me and urine both came back negative so I am at a loss 😂😂 But with both my pregnancies my nipples hurt like this for 2 weeks before a missed period.

@Hogwarts313 I had the leaky nipples and some breast pain when I had ridiculously high prolactin that was actually preventing me from getting pregnant.

Yeah I had my prolactin checked as well and it was within normal range. So I am highly confused by it all.

Hi I’m OP, but I lost access to that account so I had to make this new one. It turned out to just be a random symptom I got before my period. I did get my bloods checked the week later and my prolactin was high. They checked it again at the end of the month and it was back to normal, and they said prolactin can fluctuate like that.

While I did get my period this cycle, the next cycle I got pregnant. I had very regular symptoms that time and didn’t think I had caught at all. It unfortunately turned out to be an early loss but it kinda showed me that symptoms can just be very random.

Sorry nipples can be a symptom of pregnancy. Always have been for me in pregnancy but not so early on. It's a couple of weeks from positive test before I usually get any symptoms. It's easy to overthink everything when you're trying.
