Continuous peak OPK

We're not actually TTC at the mo, but thought this would be the best place to post to get answers.

For the last 7days I have had a peak OPK (dye stealer) every time I've tested.
Reason I tested when not TTC was because my period randomly started 2 weeks early last month which I put down to a campylobacter infection that started at the same time. As we're not TTC I just avoid sex around ovulation. Previously cycles have always been very regular.

From Googling it seems that can be caused by:

  • menopause (I'm 37 but my cycles were regular until a month ago)
-PCOS (I have my hormones tested regularly due to a prolactinoma and I don't have it)
  • ovarian failure (would that suddenly happen?)
  • pregnancy ( almost impossible since I had my period recently and haven't bd since - I've bought tests off Amazon which will arrive today)

Anyone had the same and knew what caused it?

I would advise taking a pregnancy test to rule that out first.
Are you due to ovulate this week? Could be just that you have a lot of high tests before ovulating.

Commenting to see the outcome but I say you’re pregnant.

I had the same. I was pregnant.

A random and unexpected period is possibly implantion bleeding which would make sense if the LF is detecting pregnancy.

So I'm pregnant - it's quite a dye stealer too.
