Does this sound normal (implantation)?

I was either 8 or 9DPO yesterday and got my first real symptoms of potential implantation, which have carried on into today. I'm getting sensations in my lower abdomen, kind of like ovulation pain, sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right. Sometimes a mild stabbing feeling, other times more like a prickling sensation. Yesterday it was mostly the right and today it's left. I'm getting waves of nausea that's quite bad at times. I had a bad headache yesterday and a bit of one today.

I also had a dip in my BBT yesterday right down to the baseline, and today it's looking like it's going back up, so I'm wondering if it's an implantation dip?

This is my first ever 2WW and I feel like I'm losing the plot, oscillating rapidly between 'no way can I be pregnant' and 'definitely pregnant'. I'm also worried because I'm not sure how normal it is to have nausea this soon and for the pains to be on one side at a time rather than more diffusely across the abdomen (like with period pains).

Can anyone offer any words of wisdom? I've been testing for a few days but no sign of the second line.

I can’t answer the question as I didn’t get implantation pain with my first pregnancy, but I did get other symptoms which are similar to what you’re describing (headaches, tiredness and nausea/sickness) from 2 or 3 DPO, which I know sounds mad and is biologically impossible, but I just knew something was different about my body. We were super lucky and we conceived first cycle so I don’t have an unsuccessful cycle as a comparison point though.

I’m currently cycle 1 TTC #2 and 3/4DPO. Same thing as last time. I had to pull over my car last night because I felt so sick, and I was actually sick at work today. I feel so tired I could fall asleep at any moment and my head is throbbing.

so I can’t test yet, but if it’s a negative then I guess I can conclude that anxiety around the TWW is the trigger for these symptoms and not pregnancy 😂

Hey 👋 been sending my Google search mad with searching for things - I’m cd40 but 10dpo
I have pcos so crazy cycles but can usually tell by cm - so yesterday I had the tiniest pink cm thought af on her way - been sooo tired and today heightened smell ! Usually hits me around 8wks pg - been testing and so far bfn today I had what I thought was start of af , even put a tampon in as was at a funeral - went to change it and barely nothing - nothing since either - so I test again bfn - came home from funeral and fell asleep on sofa - again , not like me at all ,, tired of reading old threads and just want to know …. The wait is awful isn’t it - my cycles are usually shorter than this so i actual feel the size of a house ! So bloated !
it drives me crazy wondering !!

I'm feeling bloated too. I normally am by this point in my cycle and just longing for the period to come so the bloating goes away, so the idea it might not come is quite weird - but obviously I hope it doesn't!

@glasspaw This is my first TTC cycle so I don't have any comparison either. I have had ovarian cysts before, one of which got quite big and caused me to need surgery as it had wrapped around my fallopian tube, and I'm realising the pain and even nausea is actually similar to when that was happening. But the pain I'm having now is nowhere near near as bad and on both sides, mostly the right - and the right is where I no longer have a tube! So I'm going round in circles whether my symptoms are actually anything to worry about.

It would also be amazing if I have conceived this first try given I'm pretty sure I ovulated on the right! I know the other tube stepping in to pick up the egg is a thing but the potential reality of that actually having happened is amazing.

I’ve had more pink cm - I guess af is on her way for real - I know some ppl go on to get bfp but doubt I’m that lucky -
I woulda bet my house that I was pregnant , headaches tiredness bad skin bad temper lol
fact is we will know when we know and even then we will all still turn our heads upside down just incase it helps to see a 2nd line - in the light out the window - in the bin and back out !!!

I was getting my head around the possibility of pregnancy then started to accept peri menopause- now this -
yesterday morning I had stark white on these tests and now this -
im scared to re test on another brand , even tho I know what will be will be …. What a head mess hey

That is so exciting! What dpo are you? I’m about 11dpo and getting stark negatives. I also have pcos, and I only know my period is coming because I’ve got crazy sore boobs lol.
did you try anything diff this cycle?

I didn’t apart from look out for ewcm - by that sign only I would be 13-14dpo but stark negative yesterday - and plenty of spotting for almost a week now -

Hey ladies - thought I would update the thread just in case ppl are as crazy as me and want to know the outcomes - my beta hcg was negative- so it looks like this was a false positive. I would strongly recommend wait until a few days past due af and try with a decent brand - the heartache false positives cause is unreal - good luck to you all x
