Saw a faint line yesterday at 10dpo. Then today at 11dpo I took the 3 tests and still faint lines in them but the early response clear blue digital is neg. Could the strips tests all be indents??

Digital is usually accurate

Digital is usually accurate

Completely opposite actually. A digital is accurate much later than strip tests. They need a higher amount of HCG to trigger a 'pregnant' result.

So if you're testing before 14DPO or the day your period is due a strip test may give you a faint positive, where as the same amount of HCG on a digital isn't enough to get a 'pregnant'

That's why for digitals you need to wait until your period is due or else you're just wasting your money.

Actually everyone experinces things differently, so that is just from your experience and I commented from mine

You can take digital test days before your period is due

Anyways moving on @SC126 You could have ovulated later? Maybe try in a couple of days

SC126 · 21/06/2023 06:12

Update 12dpo. Still two lines but I’m not sure they are getting any darker so who knows.

Those look like early positives to me. The top one on the last picture is darker than my BFP (which is now a 17 month old child 🤣) congrats!!

belle1993 · 21/06/2023 06:34

They def look darker. Try a clear blue weeks indicator they are more sensitive I got a 1-2 weeks at 12dpo or try a frer

It's not my experience. It's scientific fact. You need about 50ml/hcg to get a pregnant in digital.

10ml/hcg on a strip test will give a faint positive.

So test with 30hcg and digital will say not pregnant. A strip test will give a faint line.

Holly1712 · 21/06/2023 15:47

I’ve had on a batch of those tests before (ordered from Amazon) and definitely wasn’t pregnant. I don’t trust them anymore. Try one in water. I honestly think the clear blue digital are a lot more accurate than they used to be….especially if you get the 6 days early ones that are just pregnant/not pregnant. Good luck

Holly1712 · 21/06/2023 15:47

I meant to say all of those tests I had- had lines on very annoying

Thanks. I tried one under water and it has come out stark white so kinda hoping the tests are legit but we shall see I suppose.

This is the test I took under water and there’s definitely no line. So hopefully since I’m getting lines on all the urine ones it’s legit. I’m going to try my other digital either tomorrow or Friday.

Congratulations told u digital is accurate 😊

She literally did a digital at first that said not pregnant when the stick showed a faint line.

Now her Hcg has built up enough to get a positive. Proving what you said is wrong and what I said was right 😂😂

Lol she is is less than 14 dpo so clearly u are wrong, go debate with yourself

@SC126 Sorry about that I won't respond to that person anymore, congratulations again 🎉

It's not a magic number where a digital works at 14dpo. But it's just fact that a digital can give a negative when a strip test gives a faint positive, because of the way they work. So digital are not more reliable before your period is due.

Admit your wrong or just go away.

HuxleyPigOinkOink · 21/06/2023 19:20

@SC126 so sorry your threads been derailed by that person!
