Hello

So I've been looking into a few brands out there, most of them contain folic acid which I take anyway, are they a scam and basically just sell folic acid to you? I've heard they mess up your cycles so I've always been put off, but mine are all over the place now anyway due to my health so I have nothing to lose if I did start them. any thoughts .. ? Xx ttc for ages

Never heard of them and I was TTC 13yrs! What are the ingredients? If its just a multi vitamain with folic acid at an inflated price- then absolutely no- I wouldn't buy them! Not when you can get both for £1 from boots and supermarkets. Unless there is a hormonal component (which would be on script if in the UK) then how would they change cycles???

OP- If you are under 35 and TTC over 12mths, see your GP, if over 35 and TTC 6mths- see your GP. Especially if your cycles were regular before and now aren't! (If that is what you implied?) Can you health issue be corrected or eased? See a specialist if you can.

Like above poster said but also you only really need folic acid and vitamin D
i take other things too advised by a consultant for PCOS, but conception vitamins aren’t really needed as long as you’re taking the folic and vit D
