Late Ovulation Conception??

Hi,

My cycles have been regular the past year aside from last August/September when I missed a period but I was highly stressed at this point and had the copper IUD in then. I got this removed in Feb this year and they’ve been regular since.

I went on holiday last month, wasn’t feeling stressed or anything but my period was due on 6th June and didn’t come with no sign of it coming so just assumed maybe it was late because of travelling etc. I’m now 12 days late and have done 4 tests, last one being at 10 days late, all BFN.

My boobs are bigger and I’ve recently in the past 2 days started cramping quite strong on and off but still no period, completely clear down there, no spotting even, I really don’t think it’s going to come.

My query is even though we didn’t have unprotected sex before my period due date, we did have unprotected sex after it was due on the 9th June twice as thought period just late, it will come in few days, in the clear zone mostly, but now I’m wondering if I was already ovulating late could I have been unknowingly ovulating when we had unprotected sex and now conceived? So my already late period is now even later and it would take longer for me to get a BFP?? I hope that makes sense lol, sounds confusing to me sorry but idk if my theory makes sense

Yeah you could have defo ovulated late. I’ve missed plenty of periods and I definitely didn’t have pms symptoms if it was just skipping entirely. So it seems like you ovulated late and either you are pregnant or your period is on its way in the next week or so

Okay perfect thank you! I'll play it by ear and see what happens in the next week and a bit because by then I should be due my next period, intrigued to see what's actually happening

I’m in a similar boat with PMS too and expecting period in a week or so, hoping it’s not that though! We should update each other x ☺️

@Peachyplumm yeah definitely!! I’ve still been cramping quite heavily today but literally nothing happening downstairs to even suggest period is on it’s way, I don’t normally cramp either so it’s so weird !

Last night I had really bad cramping like I was actually on my period. I kept going to check if I was bleeding but I’m not. It was super intense for hours then finally settled down and now it’s mild for me! Other symptoms are I’m unbearably thirsty! But I’m on antibiotics right now and I don’t know if it causes that. Any other symptoms you’re having?

Sorry been v busy last few days not been on here, all I’m having is some cramping and back pain now, still no period, 16 days late, done a test this morning for the first time in a week and a faint line came up within the 3 min time frame but it’s so faint I’m unsure if it’s a BFP or an EVAP or and indent arghh

Hi! I ended up getting my period on 1st July so had a 49 day cycle and then after that my next cycle was 40 days so sadly not pregnant, just my cycle is out of whack for whatever reason - the two Clearblue tests I done gave faint positives but they were obv false as every other test I done (and I done a lot!) were all negative.
