Starting this thread after an early loss in May. I’m trying to conceive again asap as I feel ready. Would be lovely to have others join for mutual support x

@ttcthoughts better late than never! It’s so frustrating doing those tests and knowing the test line isn’t quite there yet, but there is no denying that one ☺️

I’m ok thanks, feeling a little deflated with this pre period bleeding I’ve been getting. Think it’s time I speak to my GP to check if there is anything I need to be concerned about.

Hi @Joleyjojo welcome to the group! I’m also 8dpo but I’m trying reeeeeally hard to resist the temptation of testing. I might cave on Saturday if I don’t feel periody. I can always tell if I’m going to start. Fingers crossed for you, there’s still hope for you this month

im not feeling to confident tbh. Didn’t do SMEP in any way shape or form ha…barely did the s 😄 managed day 7, Day 10 and day 14 which was ovulation day and day 19 😂 I have been on holiday and had a weekend away in that time though (both without OH).

@ttcthoughts it will be my first test at the time I should get a result…unlike 2 days ago at 5dpo 😂.
Also that’s definately positively a peak. Do you use the pre mom app?

@Joleyjojo welcome! I also keep prodding my boobies for soreness…there’s none lol. Except the soreness from me constantly squeezing them. I’m also 39. Just turned. Definately maybe overweight according to those BMI charts but I am tall too. Plus I don’t wanna stress myself not having cake when I need to be happy on my ttc journey. Life is stressful enough. Atleast that’s my story and I’m sticking to it x

When do you think you’ll test? It’s our very first month trying to I’ve no idea how restrained I can be during the TWW. 🙈

@ttcthoughts So I’ve earmarked the 28th to do a test but that’s only because my husband and I are on a boating holiday with my in-laws over the weekend and I don’t think we could keep it to ourselves if it is a BFP. 😅 I also feel like I might be a moody cow if it’s a BFN and nobody needs that!

Side note, are you/have you DTD today and will you tomorrow? I feel like I should but man I’m so tired! 😂

I haven't I would of wanted to this morning but woke late, so I will tonight, Where my ov was late we only DTD last night and the night before and then two days before that. so I will probably do tonight and tomorrow night maybe the night after to be safe haha

@Blessedmummytobe @ttcthoughts i love your optimism but unfortunately after my mmc earlier this year, I know seem to spot about 7dpo until my period arrives, it’s very annoying!

@ttcthoughts no I’ve not been yet but I’m going to give them a call and see what they suggest. I’m really not ready to go down a route of tests etc., I just want this TTC business to be over (in the nicest possible way 😂)

It is difficult to feel optimistic every month and frustrating when life gets in the way of key dates but hoping for the best for you ☺️

10dpo, AF due Sunday, and I have the dreaded dull ache. Feeling like this won’t be my month.

@FoodFann same as you really! Got the tell tale AF ache…so expecting that she’s on her way. I have a massive head ache now too so I’ll just wait and see what happens on Monday I guess. If not this month we go again next and get all the key dates needed hopefully. I have no travel or time away until month end so it should be manageable🤞🏾

1dpo. 😬 Feeling a bit gutted as we didn’t manage to DTD on the day of ovulation or the day after. We did manage to DTD the four days before ovulation though so hoping that counts for something…

@HopeAndChocolate i think that sounds very promising as the sperm is ready and waiting for the egg to appear, good luck!! ☺️

Hey all! Hoping to join.. first month TTC #1, CD8 for me and attempting the SMEP, so we DTD today. I'm a huge organiser/worrier so have been reading lots on TTC these past few months in preparation!

My cycles are usually between 27-29 days and I have been OPK testing the past few months in the lead up to TTC and usually get my peak around CD14/15, but the last two months my cycle has only been 26 days, leaving me with a 10/11 day luteal phase!

Have started pregnacare conception vitamins this cycle so hoping that helps with the short luteal phase!

@HopeAndChocolate I thought that when I was reading the thread! So nice to have others in the same position and be able to speak to - I don't know about you ladies but we're keeping the fact that we're trying between us and hubby is just excited about all the BD - he's been pushing for us to start trying for a good few months now!

Yep we’re the same @rosecbrm - I’ve sworn my husband to secrecy, it just feels weird to think that people know that we’re trying and I think it eases the pressure somewhat. Though there’s plenty of that elsewhere tbf where ovulation day nears. 😅

Am I right in thinking you are 2dpo today? How are you feeling?

A couple of cycles ago we kind of said like lets not be careful and if it happens it happens kind of thing and I didn't track or anything, didn't BD much.. but because I knew roughly when I ovulated I still found myself wanting to POAS even though I KNEW there wasn't really a chance it would be positive..
So this is the first month officially trying and I just know I am going to be crazy during the TWW and want to POAS all the time!

Yep, day 2 for me! I feel ok actually but I think that’s because it’s early into the TWW and I know we’ve done what we can for this round - give it another few days and I’ll probably be pulling my hair out. 😅

I think we just have to take each day as it comes and sometimes you just need to itch that scratch!
