Faint line so early

Hello,
I had a chemical pregnancy last month and then my hormones have been weird this month with frequent positive OPKs so no clue when I actually ovulated. I DTD 5th and 6th June. I've been feeling nauseous tonight so did a FRER out of curiosity and there is a very faint line. Can this be right can you even get a positive so soon?!

Hi!

I expect it’s possible if you implanted very early (5 or 6 days after ovulating) as I’m aware it then takes a few days for HCG to come up on tests.

I’ve seen posts from women who got “indent lines” and not actually coloured true positives on FRERs in the past so it could also be that.

Maybe try with a different brand? I won’t suggest the obvious to try again in a few days because I know the wait is agonising !!!

Good luck and I hope you get the outcome you want x

Thanks! Just seems very odd!! Could be indent?

Argh it’s so hard to tell isn’t it! I’ve seen (if you Google Indent lines) that they are often grey or without colour and yours does look like it has a bit of colour!

I guess there is no 100% answer at this stage 😬

I know I really didn't want to test so stupidly early it was just the nausea and was wondering if there was something wrong with me :-/ which could be completely unrelated and only occurred in the evening. Probably the sun.

Are you actively trying and hoping to be pregnant? Just asking as I’m actively trying and it totally makes you over think everything and think it all must be pregnancy related! So easy to over analyse

User1815 · 13/06/2023 19:28

Yeah actively trying! I know and I already am I worrier anyway 🙈 have you been trying long?

I hate to say it but I’ve always been taking them out the plastic & had so so many false positives!! This attached was from feb- look how positive it looks & I came on my period the same day!! I think taking them out does mess with them as I’ve had positives every month for the last 6 months when I’ve taken them out the plastic & im still TTC over here!

Yep don't take them out, I was exactly the same. Until Mt bfp came and I literally seen the line without having to squint, that's when u will know x
