Help BFP to AF to BFP to BFN to positive opk and BFP

As per the title.
I am now cycle day 16. Currently have positive opk. Last cycle I got a faint BFP on day 28, 2 days late then day 29 AF came quite heavily for 7 days (usual is 4-5). Classed myself as out and possible CP. day 7 and 8 opk very dark and i had very heavy boobs and felt a bit sicky so did a pregnancy test and faint bfp. For 4 days they got fainter and then stark negatives and I no longer felt pregnant or had any symptoms I assumed hcg leaving from chemical. Tracking with opk has returned to normal, today being a very strong positive on opk. We dtd on day 12 and 14 hoping the myth of being more fertile after CP to be true. Today as I know I will be ovulating in next 12ish hours decided to do one last preg test and it has a visible but faint line. I was at a gynecology appointment as a follow up for a mmc I had in feb and mentioned this to them their urine test was a negative so it was left there. I've had some pains in my right side and lower back quite similar to my pains I got in early pregnancy yet no other symptoms and I also have disc disease which can flare when ovulating. Now the pee sample today was quite diluted. I didnt manage to grab the pot before my first pee. I stopped doing the preg tests once I had 3 days of negative and the opk sticks appeared to be following the usual cycle. Today's opk being darker than the control line showing that I'm still surging. Has anyone been through similar who can shed some light. If I was pregnant from last cycle I'd now be in week 5 to 6 as that cycle started 1st May. I had darkest opk on day 15 and dtd on day 12 and 14 (and 17). Can you ovulate if already pregnant. I'm concerned re ectopic but been told the sticks would be darker if that was the case. I'm sending myself into overdrive with worry and now concerned we maybe shouldn't have dtd this cycle but I had negatives and my opks were back to normal. I shall attach some pics of all the sticks (feel like I've got sticks coming out of my ears). I have had a couple of threads I've updated but felt to have all the ups and downs in one place be best. Haha oregano. Still makes me chuckle. Well ive had negatives since that random faint so I'm ruling that out and saying it's an evap...even though it appeared within the time. These sticks can be mean. But I'm only day 10... this cycle feels like its taken forever haha. Aww thankyou it was just as nerve wracking the first time round but I wasn't on here back then it would have been nice to have a sounding wall haha.

Yes I would love a little boy so we have one of each but I guess as long as we have a baby and they are healthy is the main thing. I will keep you updated. When do you go away? Have a lovely time if its now. I reckon the day you plan to go for a swim will be the day after shows haha.

my naughty AF did show and enjoyed the whole holiday with us 🤣🤣 but finally I can get in them tww soon am hoping I don't have a long cycle again so am not 100% sure if my ovulation dates will be the usual or what but am just going with the flow what will be will be

I had several faint positives again 😫 however I'm now day 6 of cycle. Have ordered some different tests for this cycle. Bit concerned as our donor goes abroad on day 13 for 12 days so we gonna see day 10 and then on return so I'm hoping I ovulate either really late or really early 😅

Last month felt like it had several thousand days I wish to be more chilled this month.

Oh we did the weather wasn't great but it added some extra fun on our little explorer days haha.

Actually think I do, not every cycle but I get a terrible pain on my left side and down my leg so Think that's when I ovulate from the left and then when I ovulate from the right nothing. It's crazy what u noticed when ttc wouldn't of noticed anything before hand 🤣

Oh that's a bummer isn't it! Defo stay away from that brand I would of been going nuts sorry that happened 🥰 Is the urge to test to much to wait it out? I stay clear of them because it would consume me 🙈 fingers crossed but as they say sperm can survive for five days so there's still a good chance for use xx

How are you doing? Sorry I've not replied yet I tried to keep my mind active and away from baby brain stuff haha. We saw the donor on day 10 and day 12 of this cycle before his holiday and its not day 17 and according to my sticks I've still not had peak LH so unless it happened between sticks I do believe I'm probably out this cycle... unless I have an extremely late ovulation in which case I'll do one more attempt the day after he returns but thats day 25 which will be very very late in my cycle. Makes me wonder how long this cycle is gonna be. I ovulated around day 18 last cycle and had a 31 day cycle but had the possible chemical again so I'm wondering if this is just the new norm for me 🤷‍♀️

Have you trred this cycle?

We are moving alot of furniture around today and trying to sort this new build house with no cupboards out in a way we have more storage space so that's gonna keep me occupied over the coming days as I have ocd and plans haha.

Ordered new sticks and they are about 2mm thick so look like they are gonna be even worse 🥴

Oh don't worry about it I get the baby brain now that av been trying and I'm starting my tww tomorrow am in full swing of baby brain! I can feel the obsession kicking in already haha! I don't use ovulation sticks I just stick to tracking my cycle and knowing my body otherwise I would be pissing on a stick like a crazy women! Maybe you've just missed your lh rise when doing a stick and it's already had the surge? I've got my fingers crossed for you!

I have long cycles between 34-36 and then that random one last month which was like 50 odd days so am not sure where I'm ovulating but I think av covered all possibilities 🤣 and I think I've had some ovulation pain on my right this month last was the left.

I'm a organiser like a freak with it haha we had our kitchen done last year and I made sure to build in so many cupboard on our media wall for all DS toys and grap and it's safe to say everyone of them is full 🤣

I'm unsure regarding my ov sticks as I feel like it may be happening NOW with the stitch feeling I have in my side and my ov sticks seem to be darker however still not as dark as usual so I'm guessing now or soon. The little fellas can stay living up to 5 to 6 days I've read but I think this will be far toooo late but fingers crossed I maybe missed it with the sticks... I'm day 19 now and thought I took a pic of this mornings which looks same as last nights

Tonight's is pretty definitive tbh 🤦‍♀️ so I feel like I've most definitely missed it this cycle 😭

I duno what dpo I am coz I'm not sure when it was so just have to wait for missed period Al start the symptom spotting next week hahaha

Aww symptom spotting is terrible... I'm sure months I've not been trying I get the same symptoms but obvs never put it down to it and then every twinge I the tww I'm like could it be. It's just so frustrating cos it's happened before recently and I just want it so badly to happen again. I'd love to not test ovulation and just chill but with my other half being a woman it's impossible and we woukd rather not have to do the insemination throughout the month but yeah I seem to be having extra long LH surge this cycle... ovulation is meant to occur 12 to 48 hours after the surge and then egg there for 12 or so hours I think... I just don't know if that's from first peak LH test or last one cos I've got a few days of them now. He's free on 22nd so I'm just hoping maybe if we saw him then too it would be useful 🥴 I'm proper stressed this cycle... I woukd have been being induced in a couple of weeks and I think that's playing on my mind

Urghh av started the symptoms spotting even tho I'm 5dpo and I know it's way to early to notice anything but I have terrible back ache and twinges which makes me nervous because my last pregnancy I had terrible back and that didn't turn out so good but just been looking back at when I first got pregnant with DS and this happened with him 5dpo so yes it's official am being the crazy lady in the tww 🤣🤣🤣

Oh Im sorry your feeling like that I totally get it! Sometimes you feel like it's just not fair don't you and the urge to just be pregnant can be so overwhelming! By looking at your test it definitely looks like your about to ovulate probably in the next 24hrs but am not a pro with ovulation tests my ovulation is anywhere from the 19days to 21 last month it was bloody 35

Are u regular with your periods? Do u only do insemination on your ovulation day? They say sometimes it's best doing it two days before and day of just so the sperm is already waiting?

Am ere if u need to rant with your stress ttc is such a hard journey xx

Aww noooo my back was the first thing I noticed when I was pregnant... I literally took myself to hospital as I have degenerative disc disease and genuinely thought one of my discs had ruptured something it was soooo bad... its been worse since pregnancy and when I have bad back days in the 2ww I'm immediately like yep I must be again and then remember that anything like the weather or sleeping odd or just cos it wants to be more painful that day can cause it... but yes my first sign from about 7dpo was my back ache getting worse I kept saying if I'm not pregnant this cycle I need to request another mri and make sure nothing has got worse and sure enough I was pregnant and the hospital when I went I had only known for a couple of days they were like there's literally not much we can do to check but told me about the hormone (ironically) called relaxin and that along with the natural progesterone just isn't nice to the old backs. It could be a sign. I'll be no use to you whatsoever to be your calmer downer... I'll be like yess that must be it 🤣

Yes I think when you've been there and have already had those positives and I was lucky too as it was my 3rd cycle trying that I was successful and then it all ends in heartbreak its like sad on so many levels and just can't wait to 1, be pregnant again and 2 not have to do the tracking insemination etc.

So usually (until the last 2/3 months and possibly had chemical pregnancies) I have had 26/27 day long cycles with LH peak at day 12/13 (so ovulation being 12 to 24 hours after this point) We'd always see the donor on day 10, 13 and 16/17 working around the odd day my wife is at work till 10pm. The cycle I conceived our car failed us on the earlier days, I got a peak on day 13 and it was day 13 we saw the donor, then the car was at the garage for like 3 days after that so I was like yeah it won't be this cycle and low and behold it was. So I've tried to see the donor the day of the first peak since then too but it always seemed to fall on a Saturday which is when neither of us are able to do it. We know the stuff from the days running up to it are useful but because of how and when it worked before we would like to be able to do that. Annoyingly this cycle that day was yesterday... 🥴 I downloaded that premom app which I've seen alot of people use on here and looks like the peak surge was yesterday meaning I'm pretty much gonna be ovulating now ish. I don't think there will be much point seeing the donor when they return on day 25 but I will continue using the sticks in case I have a random 2nd surge 🤷‍♀️

I have been soooo creative with arts and crafts and moving furniture around I feel like I'm using ttc to keep my mind off the loss and due date approaching and using as much as possible to keep my mind off ttc.. I'm gonna ban the donor from going on holiday until I am pregnant 🤣

It's all the constant tracking and looking over charts and seeing if you've done it all in the right time that starts getting us down never mind hoping to just get it right first time round! I understand not wanting to wait took me five years for DS then first cycle with my second pregnancy and I'm like please can I just be lucky again but at the same time I need to be realistic.

Av woke up today just convincing myself it's pms starting to kick in and to stop jumping the gun!

Even if u was a good calmer downer (love that haha) I prob wouldn't take notice anyway ttc and symptoms take over our minds haha

It must be hard for use with having to wait for your donor ECT I take my hat off to yous ad have the poor fella taped up somewhere 🤣🤣 hopefully our babies rnt too far away xx

Yes I do wish this ttc for same sex couples was alot easier. I thought I knew what was what this cycle and know I missed ovulation by a few days with seeing donor on 10 and 12 day and ovulation being around day 20... however now day 25 my sticks have confused me lol I appear to be surging again so unsure if I should arrange to see donor tomorrow or just leave it as apparently only one ovulation can occur in the month but I've found conflicting info on that. I've been known to have a slight increase on sticks a couple days before period but I'm not due on till day 34 this cycle (going by day 20 ovulation). My app is putting me at day 34 too... I really miss my 27 day cycles with ovulation on day 14... so much easier to track and I can't even say its was the loss as it was clockwork even after the loss until the last 2 months of chemicals. 😭

@DarkCrystal85 wow, it looks like you could have been lucky and maybe didn’t ovulate on cd20 and your body is now attempting to ovulate again? Do you feel any ovulation pains etc usually or track cm?

Yep I've tested twice like a idiot because we all no it's too soon 🙈 I've got all kinds of symptoms and convinced myself I must be! the tww craziness has hit 🤣🤣 now I've come down with a horrible cough and trying to convince myself that's a symptom aswell even tho all kinds of bugs are going around ATM. Boobs r kicking off still getting twinges but the back ache has gone. And lacking in pms which is normally in full swing by now haha.

Wow you must be confused so am I! Am I right in thinking 25 looks stronger than 20? I would arrange to see the doner it has been known to ovulate more than once even though it's rare. Also u sure u didn't ovulate around 12? Have u done any more pregnancy tests? Even tho my AP says af is due day 36 I'm going off day 34 because that's my usual

I did think I had ovulation pangs from around day 18 onwards but they haven't left.

We have arranged to see the donor tomorrow... can't hurt to try and at least then if I have another 'peak' I won't regret not seeing the donor 😊 I have told myself I'm out this cycle but at least I have a darker test while the donor is in the same country haha.

@Jadeypie ha annoyingly I've today woken up with what feels like a right side only head cold and body aches... so obviously thought the same as you and did a test... which was negative. I've recorded all the way from cycle day 8 to current and the darkest lines were on 19th and I'm sure I didn't ovulate sooner... also feel like had I ovulated sooner and conceived the preg sticks woukd show something by now

Oh I really hope you are lucky this cycle, for the wooo of being pregnant but also the wooo of no more tww and ttc as it is the biggest ball ache I'm getting blues from it all I think esp as approaching babies due date I just wanted to have another bun in the oven before it so something positive could have come of it I don't know if that even makes sense lol.

Fingers crossed my last ovulation was a trick one and this is the real one. Will keep informed and hope you do too 😊

Cycle day 20 will have been the ovulation after the peak on 19th... usually... as it takes a while from peak to egg being released

@DarkCrystal85 awww that's crap I've probably put the thought in your head too! I'm still dying this cough is the worst cough I've ever had! So am starting to think it's defo a bad cold and not anything to do with pregnancy!

They actually do don't they ha with them fading does that mean the LH surge has been? I'm not fully clued up with ovulation sticks at all I am intrigued tho! I'm thinking maybe I should give it ago next month just to see where I actually do ovulate. Looking back at my pregnancy and other cycles it does always seem to be cd19 to 21 and then I do always have a random long cycle once in a while am starting to think is that seasonal 🤣🤣

Yaa the darker ones that are same darkness as the control line tends to be when the peak happens... I'm wondering if yesterday's surge is due to this rotten cold.

I was gonna reply when I first read your reply but my dd needed my phone to watch marble runs and was gonna say am lucky this cold is just my nose but...now I have a bad cough to go with it. Must be a seasonal thing 🤔

Won't be seeing the donor tonight either as he's messaged to let us know he has covid poor chap... though it means I can snuggle down on the sofa when dd goes to bed and not have to think about preparing the room or equipment or me for insemination. I am 99% sure it's been and gone... just too late for donation on the 12th but next cycle we've arranged to get a donation every 2 or 3 days from day 10 till day 24 or so... I'm getting fed up of this malarkey lol.

Sorry for delay we got bad news last week and in a way I'm so happy it wasn't much of a possibility being pregnant (I'm day 2 now) as would have felt wrong for me to have good news alongside the bad news. I've arranged to see donor day 11 13 16 and 19 of this cycle and hope that covers the ovulation being on time or late.

Have you done any more tests? Been greeted by AF yet.

Aww our dd does like trains and making tracks but these marbles seem to be her obsession so we have ordered the one from our amazon basket and its due between today and Wed...I'm a big kid and really looking forward to building it haha.

Ovulation sticks are good to use and do help ascertain when due on, had I not been using them I would have thought I was a week late by time I came on but as I knew it was day 20 I was expecting it to be day 34. Was day 33 in the end and while we were visiting our friend in hospital which was just fabby dozey of it.
