Hello ladies!
Come off the pill last week.. 4 days off now and light withdrawal bleed started today. I have only been on the pill a year and half.
Hoping to conceive asap
Just have started pregnancy multivitamins. Aren't they huge Shock
Any tips? Any stories of coming off the pill and getting pregnant fairly rapidly? Smile as this is my first time ttc

You’re likely doing this already but track your cycle. I had a longer run up (12 months off the pill before TTC) but the information was so useful that we actually managed it in month 1 of trying despite only DTD 2x! I just used the Apple health app for it and turned on ovulation predictions.

also, track symptoms through your cycle. I now recognise ovulation pain around CD14 which is handy for trying for a second child :)

good luck!

Or you could just have lots of sex. I came off the pill, tracked nothing and (at 32) was pregnant first cycle. DS2 took six months. But I recommend a little while because I cannot imagine how stressful tracking is!

I came off the pill at the very end of December/start of January. First 1-2 cycles we weren’t trying especially hard, I was also adjusting to being off the medication etc. Started some ovulation tracking in cycle 3, got pregnant in cycle 4 - I’m now 7 weeks. I honestly thought it would take longer as I’d been on it for a long time, just goes to show every body is different and will adjust accordingly.

Iv got pregnant within 6 weeks both times I came off cerezette. One time ended in early miscarriage but I then had another successful pregnancy the following month. Used preseed.

I'm in exactly the same boat! First month TTC and came off the pill in April!
I'm just going along with Flo app predictions at the moment, DH and I would rather not go using OPKs straight away 😅

Yeah I feel the same way! Would rather not use them either.

I think there are quite a few stories of people getting pregnant quickly on here. Just to bring some realism (sorry to be the party pooper) it can happen in the first month or so but often takes longer. Sometimes going in with the mindset that it'll take a while is easier. You will naturally get impatient and wonder why it hasn't happened straight away but expecting it to take a while (it's approx 20% chance each month) can make it easier.

Yeah there are people who get pregnant within weeks then others in months 💕 but true I need to not have too high of expectations for straight away. When it's mean to be it will be Smile luckily I should be moving house very shortly so that will be a big distraction for me and new chapter of my life that will take my attention a lot. Let's see what the worlds plan for me is Grin
