Hi.. I took this test on my 34th day from lmp which is 20dpo. is this a faint positive? Am I pregnant and should I repeat the test? (If so, after how many days should i repeat the test)?

I see a line.

Also, try a FRER.

when I went for an early scan back in December, they told me I was a week earlier than expected.

Good luck xx

Today I got bleeding. Initially it was very brown and then gradually a mix of brown and red. Is it period blood or implantation bleeding? Should I check with my gynec? I'm worried. What should I do now?

If you’re definitely 20dpo that line is pretty faint and I would expect it to be a lot darker but it could be that you ovulated later than you think if you don’t know when you ovulated.

The bleeding could be a chemical pregnancy (which would explain the faint line) but it could be normal early pregnancy bleeding unfortunately all you can do is wait it out and see what happens. I’m so sorry you’ve got this unknown going on. I’ve been through it more than once. I don’t think they will do anything until you’re 6 weeks unless you’ve had 3 or more miscarriages previously.

I really hope it’s just early pregnancy bleeding 💕

Are you able to take a pink dye early test like a frer or boots early detection?

I am TTC and have been taking folic acid for the past 2 months. My LMP was on 9th of may. I was supposed to get my period on 7 or 8th of june. But I didn't bleed. I tested with a pregnancy kit and showed a faint second line. But on 12th of june, I started bleeding. Usually my regular period is for 6 days with heavy flow for the first four days. And this time, the bleeding was only for 2 days and was not that heavy. Is it really my period or some other bleeding, because it was not similar to my period bleeding. Are there any chances that I might be pregnant?

@Skv I would take another pregnancy test and if negative then I would say maybe it was a chemical pregnancy. If it wasn’t a chemical or a late period then the test line should be pretty dark by now

BudgetBuster · 23/06/2023 10:00

You need to do another pregnancy test. You would be 6w3d by now so should have a clear line, if the line is still faint or no line ring your GP to request bloods to check HCG levels.

My lmp was on 12th of June and I have a 29-31 day cycle. I was about to get my period on 10th or 12th of July (this month) but on 27th day of my cycle (july 8th), i noticed a brown discharge that was midway between clearer and clotty discharge. Then for around three hours, I didn't notice any bleeding or spotting. Could it be periods or shall i take a pregnancy test?
