Contraceptive Patch - Advice Needed

Looking for a bit of advice if possible.
I am currently on the pill - microgyon 30 - and have had nothing but problems with it since the start.

I am looking to change to the contraceptive patch instead, however worried that there may be side effects. My biggest worry is headaches and weight gain as I believe that is what I am experiencing currently on the pill.

Can anyone offer any of their experience regarding headaches, weight gain or just any general advice regarding the patch?

I have contraceptive patches in the past and found them to fine. However contraception affects people differently. Whatever one person may find great could be awful for someone else. It really is a trial and error situation.

Thank you for your reply @LadyDanburysHat. I feel like I'm extremely struggling on my current pill so willing to try anything at this point that can give me the least side effects
