Had a thread a couple of days ago, had positive pregnancy test and then bleeding a few days later.

Went in for early scan and nothing was in there, they did blood 48 hours apart to confirm.

Thursdays blood came back with a hcg level of 82.

I figured that was very low and pretty conclusive

Saturdays blood came back at 74.

So clearly this isn't a viable pregnancy but the hospital are saying they are concerned about ectopic or retained tissue (considering there was no tissue on the scan I don't really understand that)

However, I got these results at teatime last night and have been waiting for a doctor to review the tests since then.

I am supposed to be taking my dd (11) away for the night, only about 3 hours away and she has been exciting for weeks.

Wouldn't I be crazy to just go or are they going to call me back in? Does anyone have any experience of this? It's been a shit enough week without letting her down too!!

I just rang the hospital and they said I need to ring back at 12 noon.

We should be setting off for our night away in 30 mins.

And help or advice would be really amazing??

I’m so sorry. No direct experience but a few friends with similar and nothing with them seemed to need to be scheduled urgently. I don’t think going away is crazy at all, unless you’re camping in the wilderness and cut off from help if you needed it. Go, call them at midday, and see what they say. Sounds like you could come back if you needed to (I feel confident nothing would happen on a Sunday anyway!)

Funnily enough DH said nothing is going to happen on a Sunday and said to just go! We could easily come back if I had to.
